Ten minutes later, Richard walked out of the audition room with a smile on his face.
"Richard, looks like the results were good." Anthony approached and said.
The people around them also looked over. Richard smiled slightly and walked out of the hall.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" As soon as he reached the hallway, he waved his fist and cursed.
"What's wrong?" Anthony was confused. Wasn't he smiling brightly just now?
"Was the person who wanted to sleep with me a female producer named Rogers?"
"The other party didn't leave a name, I don't know. What happened with the female producer?"
"As soon as I entered the office, that bitch was like a mad dog, barking non-stop and asking some very tricky questions, like 'What are you doing here as a boxer?' and 'The movie hasn't been released, who knows how good your acting is?' and other nonsense.
During the acting part, the other few people recognized my acting skills, but that mad dog kept finding fault, saying things like 'Your temperament is too tough, you're too big,' and 'Your acting is unnatural.'
In short, not a single good word. No matter how I auditioned, she kept targeting me, as if I had thrown her son down the sewer."
"Could it be love turned to hate?" Anthony guessed.
"Don't be ridiculous. That woman deliberately interfered with me, probably covering for someone to prevent me from performing too well."
"For whom? Ryan Phillippe?"
"I don't know!"
"What was the final result?"
"Wait for the notification, but the chances of success are very, very small." Richard shook his head.
"It's okay, I'll ask around later."
"Alright!"
The audition was over, and the two went downstairs together to the parking lot.
Beep beep! A BMW stopped not far away.
A middle-aged man in his forties, bald and wearing a black jacket, got out of the car. He said to the person inside, "Jim, wait here, Dad will be right down. Remember, don't wander off!"
"Okay!" The person in the car responded.
"Richard, that's producer Neal Moritz," Anthony whispered.
"It's him?" Richard looked at the man's back, and more information appeared in his mind.
Neal Moritz, a famous producer, known for his works like 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' 'Cruel Intentions,' and the 'Fast and Furious' series.
The most successful of these was the 'Fast and Furious' series, which had more than ten films made. It was incredibly successful, and thanks to the 'Fast and Furious' series, Neal Moritz also became a top producer.
"Richard, let's go," Anthony said, getting into the car.
"Wait!" Richard strode towards the BMW.
"Richard, what are you doing?" Anthony's expression changed as he thought of something. He quickly followed and grabbed Richard's arm, urging, "Richard, don't do this. It's just a movie, there's no need to resort to such extreme measures."
"What extreme measures?" Richard stopped.
"Are you thinking of kidnapping his son and using him to threaten him, tearing up the ransom note if he doesn't give you the role?"
"Get lost, am I that stupid?" Richard kicked the fat man away and walked towards the BMW.
The person in the car was listening to music, Snoop Dogg's "Doggfather," a rap song with a strong rhythm that sounded quite noisy.
Knock knock knock! Richard knocked on the car window.
"What?!" The window rolled down, revealing a young boy of about eleven or twelve years old, wearing a baseball cap tilted to the side, earrings, and chewing gum, looking cool.
"Hey, little man, have you heard this Snoop Dogg song? The opening tune goes, dang dang dang dang~"
"What dang dang dang dang?" The boy asked curiously.
"Dang dang dang dang is..." Richard suddenly jumped up, leaping over a meter high, doing a white crane spreads its wings move in mid-air, then landing with a 1080-degree spin, his body spinning like a top.
"Wow, that's so cool!" The boy exclaimed, leaning against the car window.
"Hoo~ Ha~" Richard jumped up from the ground with a carp jump and then performed a set of majestic boxing moves.
This set of punches incorporated all kinds of cool moves from Chinese Kung Fu, street dance, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, mixed martial arts, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and more.
The performance was wide and dynamic, with each move particularly beautiful. Coupled with his exceptional jumping ability and explosive power, it looked even more amazing.
"Wow, that's awesome!" The boy, who had never seen such a performance before, applauded and cheered, his face flushed with excitement.
"Hehe, this guy..." Anthony shook his head from a distance. He had seen this set of boxing moves before. Richard would sometimes perform it during underground fights to liven up the atmosphere, which was also why he was popular with boxing fans.
"Kid, watch closely, dang dang dang dang, is... boxing!" Richard shouted and punched a tree trunk in the green belt. With a crack, the child's wrist-thick greenery was broken in half.
"Wow!!!!!" The boy's mouth gaped open in astonishment.
"Tsk~" Anthony looked around and saw a park manager approaching. He quickly went over to smooth things over.
"Wow! Wow! Wow!" The boy got out of the car and ran over, grabbing Richard's hand and examining it over and over again. "Are you Superman?"
"Maybe!"
Richard smiled slightly and flexed his arm, causing the muscles on his arm to bulge.
"Wow, that's so cool! How did you train like that?" The boy asked with envy.
"Little man, my name is Richard Braddock. What's yours?"
"My name is Jim, Jim Moritz. Richard, you're amazing! Can you teach me?"
"Haha, Jim, this is hard to learn. You won't be able to do it."
"Teach me, I'll definitely be able to. I'm very smart."
"Is that so?" Richard chuckled.
---
"William, how did the audition go?" Neal Moritz asked about the audition results in the office building's hallway.
"Not bad, we've found suitable candidates for the main roles, but there's some debate about the role of Sebastian. The actor named Richard Braddock also did a good job in the audition," said producer William Tyrer.
"Is that so?" Neal Moritz looked at the information. "Then do you think using him would be better than using Ryan?"
William Tyrer thought for a moment. "About the same."
"Then there's no need to consider further. We've worked with Ryan before, and working together again would be smoother."
"Okay!"
Neal was the head of the production team, so since he had spoken, the matter was settled.
"William, I'll leave this to you. Jim is causing trouble at school again. It's driving me crazy." Neal Moritz signed the form, handed it over, and said.
"Haha, teenagers are all like that. It'll get better after a while."
"Oh, damn adolescence." Neal Moritz shook his head and walked to the parking lot with a frustrated look.
"Dad, I want fried chicken!" Jim shouted, leaning against the car window.
"What fried chicken? Don't you have chips in the car?" Neal Moritz frowned.
"Chips are chips, fried chicken is fried chicken. How can they be the same? I want fried chicken!" Jim shouted.
"Wait, I'll buy it for you when we get back." Neal Moritz got in the car and said.
"No, I want to eat it now, now!" Jim kicked his short legs.
"Okay, okay, eat, eat, eat!" Neal Moritz was annoyed and drove the car out of the parking lot.
"Dad, there's a McDonald's over there. Let's eat there!"
"Alright!"
Arriving across the street, Neal Moritz parked the car and walked into McDonald's with Jim.
It was lunchtime, and the restaurant was crowded. The booths were full, and there was a long line at the counter.
"Mr. Moritz, hello, nice to see you here!" Someone greeted him as they walked in.
"Who are you?" Neal Moritz stopped and looked at him, feeling a bit familiar.
"My name is Richard Braddock, I'm an actor," Richard smiled.
"Oh, I remember now. Hello!"
"Dad, you guys chat, I'm going to buy fried chicken over there." Jim waved his fist and walked towards the counter.
"Mr. Moritz, do you have time to chat?" Richard gestured with his hand.
Seeing that his son was still in line, Neal Moritz nodded and sat down opposite Richard.
