Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: Guilt

[Third Person's PoV]

Tony's and Momo's date continued after their kiss in the sky above the city of love.

As the world was a big place, they started traveling, embarking on their own small adventure—an adventure that would solely remain between the two of them.

After hours upon hours away, Tony and Momo finally arrived back in Japan just as the sun began to set and the last few students who had stayed for late training started heading home.

Tony was carrying Momo in a princess carry, gently setting her down onto the balcony connected to her room.

Momo stood there with her hands behind her back, smiling warmly as she gazed at Tony, who was still floating in the air before her.

"Thank you, Tony. I had a wonderful time," she said.

"I'm glad," Tony replied, his grin faint but sincere. "I enjoyed myself way more than I honestly expected."

"Oh?" she asked, raising an eyebrow teasingly. "Does that mean you didn't have high expectations for our date?"

"Are you kidding?" Tony laughed a little awkwardly. "I thought I was gonna bomb it. I had no confidence this was going to go as well as it did." He let out a big sigh of relief, the tension visibly leaving his body.

Momo pouted playfully before chuckling, choosing to focus on the bright side. "Well, at least you're honest," she said, laughing softly.

"And if we're being honest... I didn't have much faith this would work out either. But I'm glad it did."

She leaned forward against the railing and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, her smile blooming even brighter afterward. "So..." she said with a glint of amusement in her eyes, "can we consider this trial date a success?"

Tony placed a foot on the balcony railing, recalling his silver Iron Man suit to flow back inside him, revealing his sleek date outfit underneath.

In one swift motion, he took Momo into his arms, catching her by surprise as he dipped her dramatically and stole another kiss from her lips.

Momo melted at the gesture, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding onto him tightly as they kissed passionately.

Tony brought her back up, spun her around, and pulled her back against him. Her back pressed to his chest, and he leaned down, wrapping an arm around her waist, whispering into her ear as she scrunched her shoulders in flustered embarrassment.

"What do you think?" Tony murmured.

Momo leaned back against his chest, holding onto his arm. She peeked back at him, flushed and smiling. "I think you're a dangerous person, Mister Stark. A very dangerous person," she whispered.

She cupped his cheek, leaning in for another kiss—starting as a peck, then growing more and more insistent. Their lips met again and again, unable to stay apart for more than a fraction of a second.

Momo turned fully toward him, tilting her head as she kissed him hungrily, her hands on his waist and his in her hair and along her back.

"We have to... mhm... stop... otherwise it won't..." Tony tried to say between kisses, breathless.

"Tony," Momo whispered, her voice serious and breathless as she pulled back for a second, her chest heaving, "stop talking."

Tony blinked—then didn't even get a chance to respond as Momo grabbed him and pulled him back into another feverish kiss. Feeling her desire, feeling her urgency, Tony closed his eyes and surrendered himself to the moment.

Later...

Tony flew over the city of Japan, wobbling slightly in the air as if he were drunk.

Luckily, he was cloaked in invisibility—and he definitely wasn't in a car or he would have been pulled over immediately.

He eventually staggered down to the doorstep of his home. His silver Iron Man suit shimmered and retracted back into him, leaving him standing there, his messy hair tousled by the night breeze.

Tony brushed a hand over his mouth, tasting her still lingering on his lips, before smiling to himself and hesitantly stepping inside.

Peeking through the door, he immediately spotted Melissa lying on the couch alone, a book in her hands, reading glasses on, and a faint smile on her face.

"Hm?" Melissa looked up, feeling a gaze on her. She saw Tony peeking around the corner—and her smile faltered when she noticed the pout on his face and the silent tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Woah, woah, woah, Tony, what's wrong?" she asked, concerned, tossing her book aside and rushing over to him.

She pulled him to the couch and sat him down beside her. Without a word, Tony buried his face against her stomach, arms wrapped tightly around her waist.

Melissa looked down at him with an affectionate smile. She knew she probably shouldn't find it cute, but she couldn't help but adore pampering him like this.

Running her fingers gently through his hair, she asked, "Let me guess—you're feeling guilty?"

Tony nodded without hesitation, snuggling even closer into her.

"Did you have a good time?" Melissa asked, shifting a bit and playing with Tony's hair.

Tony nodded without saying anything.

"Was it because you had a good time that you felt guilty?" Melissa teased, her lips twitching with amusement.

Tony tilted his head side to side, unsure.

"I see, kinda, huh," Melissa said, furrowing her brows in contemplation. "Was it because you saw me waiting?"

Tony immediately nodded his head rapidly, making Melissa's smile grow even wider. She leaned down and planted a soft kiss on his head. "You are simply the cutest thing ever, you know that?"

"I get that you were feeling empathy toward me, seeing me waiting like that," Melissa said, stroking his hair. "But honestly, there's no need. What you think I'm feeling... is nothing close to what I'm actually feeling."

"And what are you feeling?" Tony mumbled against her stomach.

"Honestly? Burning with curiosity," Melissa grinned. "I'm dying to know how your date went. Tony, I need all the juicy details."

"...Is this a trick question?" Tony asked, still muffled as he stubbornly kept his face buried.

Melissa sighed, half amused, half exasperated. "Tony, believe it or not, I'm on the winning side of this arrangement."

Tony peeked one eye up at her. "How so?"

A mischievous grin spread across Melissa's face as she leaned in and whispered seductively in his ear, "After spending your date with Momo... it's not her you come back to sleep beside. It's me. And guess who gets to enjoy all that accumulated excitement after your date? Me~"

She tapped his head affectionately while Tony just stared at her, stunned into silence, as she added, "So sure, Momo had a nice day with you... but I'm the one who gets the real reward. Some of the best sex of my life~"

"..."

'Women scare me sometimes,' Tony thought warily, staring up at Melissa's sweet, victorious smile.

Resigned, he buried his face deeper into her stomach. "So all you want me for... is my body... Everyone talks about the benefits of being handsome, but no one ever warns you about the bane."

Melissa laughed, looking down at him tenderly. "Feeling better?"

"Slightly..." Tony muttered. "It's just... when I saw you waiting there, all alone, I was overwhelmed with guilt, and I—"

"Shhh," Melissa hushed him, gently placing a finger over his lips. "No need."

But right after, her mood shifted, her hands grabbing the collar of his shirt as she began to shake him lightly. "However, what I do need... is for you to share! I'm dying over here! Tell me everything already!"

"Alright, alright!" Tony laughed, giving up. "Well, it started when I first woke up—"

Melissa deadpanned. "Alright, now you're just taking the piss."

Tony laughed even harder before he finally relented and started actually telling her.

"So we were by the ocean first..."

"Aww, that's cute..." Melissa swooned.

"Then we went to Paris... as international war criminals..."

"Hehehe, I wish I could've seen her face!" Melissa giggled.

Tony went on to describe the dance atop the Eiffel Tower, leading to their kiss, and Melissa practically squealed, "Oh my God! That's so freaking romantic!"

Then, with a teasing grin, she added, "Woah, that's raunchy! And you two seriously didn't have sex after something that intense?"

She cackled after hearing about the drop off. "More for me to enjoy then!"

"You have a serious problem, Melissa," Tony said, shaking his head.

Melissa gave a sly smirk. "We better hurry up. The written exam's tomorrow. If we start now, we might just have time to catch a few minutes of sleep."

"A few minutes?! For how long do you plan to go?!"

"You tell me, hot stuff," Melissa teased, trailing her finger along his jawline. "Hearing about you and Momo's date has got me all hot and bothered."

"Melissa, we seriously need to get you professional help," Tony deadpanned.
