Albion POV
After the my talk with Layla and Lucy spent her energy with Aries and Kuroka, we went inside the manor and Aries went back to the celestial spirit world. I asked Layla to bring Lucy and Jude so I can tell them my plans going forward.
"My wife told me that you wanted to talk to use about your plans." said Jude
"Yeah, I am planning on going on a journey." I told them.
"I am also going with him." Kuroka said while sitting on my right shoulder.
When we said that Jude and Lucy had a look of surprise while Layla had a look that says that she understands. She may have been seeing this conversation coming.
"Why would you want to leave!?" shouted Lucy.
"Because I want to travel the world and meet more people. Maybe even join a wizard guild and have adventures. Plus I don't want to impose on your parents hospitality." I said in respose to Lucy's question.
"Oh your not imposing on us at all. You've done so much for us." said Layla.
"She is right. I heard from Layla that if you hadn't sent your mother Selene, Laylas life would have been in danger. I've always been grateful for that, even if I haven't always shown it." said Jude heartfilia in a firm yet sincere voice.
It was unexpected for Lucy's father to say that to me since the whole time that I've lived at this estate, he was always serious and a bit cautious around me. I was a stranger to him and he must have been worried for Lucy's and Layla's safety.
I admit that I didn't like him af first because of what he did in the anime but I understand given what happened to his wife but that was no excuse to treat lucy the way he did in the anime.
But this isn't the anime, this is real life; I prevented his wife from dying because of magic deficiency syndrome. Since he never lost Layla, he didn't become the man from the anime; he began to treasure his wife and child more.
My thoughts were then interrupted by another voice.
"I dont want you to leave!!" Lucy yelled as she ran up to me to hug me and Kuroka. Her hug was tight, like she was afraid that we would disappear if she let go of us.
"It is ok Lucy." I said as I patted her back to reassure her as I continue. "with the [communication lacrima] we can talk when we want and with [andata] I could easily send you letters and even visit you, so it is not like you'll never see us again."
"That's true I guess." she said with a small pout on her face.
"Plus you still have to train your magic so you can be strong enough to defend yourself." Kuroka said with a half-serious, half teasing tone.
She did have a point, with the magic ärm I gave Lucy, she sould train with them so she increase her magic power so she can be stronger then she was at the beginning of the series. Even be able to summon multiple spirits at once before major battles like phantom lord and oracion seis.
This way when she joins Fairy Tail, she could take on jobs without having to rely on Natsu, Gray and Erza who destroy half a town trying to complete a job. She would be able to earn money to pay for an appartment or even buy her own house.
I know that I won't always be there to protect her so she needs to get stronger then she was in the original timeline.
"Right! Then the next time we meet I'll show you just how strong I become." said Lucy with a determined look on her face.
The resolve in her eyes is very clear and makes me feel a little proud at the progress she is making; not in physical strength but emotional strength. With the training and ärm I've given her, I have no doubt that she can be as strong as Erza Scarlet (known as titania) or Mirajane Strauss (known as the she devil) or even Brandy (known as the nation destroyer) from the original timeline.
But since now Erza is learning magic from Irene and brandish recieved ärm and some training from me, they will stronger then in the original timeline too.
"I look forward to seeing that Lucy." I said as I pat her on the head, like how I would to Wendy.
I notice that she starts to have a slight blush on her face, is she starting to develope a crush on me?
Noticing someones eyes on me, I turn to see Layla with a knowing look on her face.
"Oh dear, looks like our Lucy is starting to develope a little crush." Layla said with her right hand covering her mouth.
"Mommy!?" Yelled Lucy at her mother in a desparate tone wth her face getting redder.
Seeing her react like this was amusing and warms my heart causing a smile to appear on my face. I notice that Kuroka was amused too since she trying to hold in a chuckle.
"So when are you planning to leave for your journey and where would you go first?" Jude asked.
"I was thinking in about two days and my first destination would be Magnolia since it is the home of the Fairy Tail guild." I answered.
"I see... do you intend to join the Fairy Tail guild?" Jude asked.
"Yes, joining a wizard guild will help me earn money and gain experience." I said in response to his question.
After a minute of silence Layla asked "When do you plan to go on your journey?"
"In about 2 days, I wanted to handle the Karen Lilica business first and see you guys before starting our journey." I told them.
When I said that, they had a warm look on their faces, even Jude before he said "Very well then, we'll see you off." Lucy and Layla nodded in agreement.
"Thanks" I said feeling a warmth in my heart.
After that conversation we had dinner and everyone went to bed.

2 days later in front of the Heartfilia estate
The days went by quickly, Lucy did not want to leave my side for most of the time.
Kuroka and I were in front of the Heartfilia estate about to leave for Magnolia with Lucy and her parents seeing us off.
"Well, this is where we part ways for now." I said while I see Lucy wiith a sad and reluctant look on her face so I went up to pat her on the head as I continued. "You will see us again Lucy."
"I know but..." she said still looking reluctant.
I decided to give her a little encouragement, so I lean in and say "If you stay here and get strong enough, maybe you can join Fairy Tail as well."
Then her eyes widen and sparkle and said "Ok, I will get stronger and join you at Fairy Tail!"
Seeing her reaction put a small smile on my face, knowing that in this timeline I gave Lucy incentive to join Fairy Tail. It is kinda funny when I think about it.
I then turn to Lucy's parents and said "May we meet again in the future, Mr and Mrs Heartfilia. And thanks for taking care of us." as I bowed to show my gratitude for everything they've done for me and Kuroka.
They looked at each other and smiled before Layla said "You dont have to be so formal, we are practically family."
"Yes, you are welcome to come back and visit us when you can." said Jude.
""Thank you, see you later/ nya."" we said at the same time
That exchange, I hold up my hand and chant "[Andata] take me and Kuroka to Hargeon."
After saying the chant, the ärm drained my magic energy and I see a bustling town with the smell of fish and sea water.
I then went into an alley to use [transformation magic] to turn into my Adamai form so Kuroka and I could fly for a bit to take the scenic route for a while and giving us some exercise. I also don't want to take the train because of my motion sickness.
When Kuroka first heard about my motion sickness, she laughed at me but motion sickness is no joke for a dragon slayer.
"Do you real want Lucy to join the Fairy Tail guild Nya?" Kuroka asked as she flew next to me.
"Yeah, why do you ask?" I said in Adamais voice.
"You told me of what happened in this world in your past life and what she went through. Are you sure you want her to go through what she did in that world?" Kuroka asked in a serious tone.
Yeah I told her about my past life, she would be my partner and I didn't want to keep things from my partner. I will tell Lucy when she is older and she understands better.
After a minute of silent I said "What she went through in that world started with her moms death, making her father throw himself into his work and neglect Lucy; but thanks to my and mother Selenes interference, Layla did not die. As a result Lucy has a better relationship with her father and she gets to spend more time with her mother, so things are already better in lucy's life. But..."
"But what nya?"
"But she also needs to learn more about th world and there is only so much she can learn in the manor. Also, in the world I am familiar with she wanted to be a writer. She tried to hide it, but I sometimes found her writing and she never noticed me." I said with a small smirk on my face.
"Okay but what does that have to do with her joining Fairy Tail nya?"
"Having adventures with Fairy Tail can help her get inspiration for her novels and help her earn money in the process. win-win."
"But her parents are wealthy nya. Why would she need to earn money?"
"There will come a time when she wont be able to rely on her parents wealth and has to be independent." I said
"Make sense nya."
The wind whistled past us as Kuroka and I glided through the sky in my Adamai form, Magnolia coming into view like a lively painting of chaos and comfort. The town buzzed with energy, its people busy and cheerful. In the center of it all, like the beating heart of Fiore, stood the Fairy Tail guild hall.
We landed a bit away from the guild entrance, just outside the main streets. After transforming back into my regular form, I took a moment to adjust my cloak, hiding my features. Kuroka straightened her outfit beside me, her golden eyes scanning the area.
"You ready for this nya?" she asked with a grin.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
We approached the doors of the guild. Before I could push them open, a loud crash echoed from inside, followed by yelling.
"WHO ATE MY STEAK!?"
"NOT ME! GRAY DID IT!"
"WHY ARE YOU STRIPPING, GRAY!?"
I looked at Kuroka. "Well… sounds like we're in the right place."
The doors burst open before I could touch them, and out flew a man with white hair—Elfman, if I remembered correctly—crashing into a barrel. Another man stormed out, growling—short pink hair, a scarf, and a familiar fire in his eyes. Natsu Dragneel.
He stopped and stared at us.
"You're not from around here," Natsu said, raising a brow. His eyes then narrowed. "You smell kinda like... a dragon."
"Maybe because I am one," I said calmly.
Silence. Then—
"WHOA! YOU'RE A DRAGON SLAYER TOO?!"
The way he grinned with genuine excitement reminded me of a golden retriever. Within moments, the tension was gone and he had us both by the hands, dragging us into the guild hall.
Inside, the chaos was real. Tables overturned, flames on the ceiling, ice shards embedded in walls. Yet the warmth of camaraderie and mischief gave the room a sense of belonging.
"Hey Mira! We got newbies!" Natsu called.
Behind the bar, Mirajane Strauss looked up, her kind smile lighting up the room. Her eyes met mine and then shifted to Kuroka.
"Well, this is a surprise," she said. "Welcome to Fairy Tail."
"You're not the only one who's surprised nya," Kuroka whispered.
We gave our introductions. When I mentioned I was on a journey to learn more about this world, Mirajane nodded understandingly. Makarov hadn't arrived yet, but she assured us he'd want to meet us personally before confirming our membership.
Moments later, Erza walked in—regal, commanding, and already suspicious.
"I sense powerful magic from you two," she said coolly. "Are you here to cause trouble?"
I met her gaze evenly. "No. We are just seeking a place to belong."
After a tense beat, she gave a slow nod. "Then don't disappoint us."
Just as things began to settle, a blue blur flew into the room—"AYE, SIR!"
Happy crashed into Natsu's head and stared at Kuroka in shock. "Another cat?!"
Kuroka's tail flicked. "I'm a Exceed, not some fish-addicted mascot."
That led to a bickering match between the two, which ended in laughter.
As the sun dipped below the horizon and the guild returned to its usual drinking and chaos, I found myself smiling. Kuroka curled up beside me on a bench, purring softly.
Maybe… this was the beginning of something good.
