Text(Hogwarts Express)
Five and a half hours into the eight hour trip and Harry and the girls were relaxing in their compartment when much to their surprise there was a knock on the door, "Wait a minute, I thought nobody could find us." Daphne frowned. Outside of when Harry removed the barriers they hadn't been bothered at all so the fact that somebody was knocking on the door was a surprise.
"They can't" Harry said with a scowl on his face. There was only one person who would be able to find him but before he could get up, the door opened and a smiling Nymphadora Tonks opened the door already dressed in her uniform.
"Dora! What are you doing here?" Lyra frowned not expecting to see her cousin.
"I wanted to make sure my cousin wasn't getting into any trouble before getting to Hogwarts."
"As you can see I'm fine." Lyra frowned.
"Who said I was talking about you." Tonks smiled before focusing on Harry.
"Hello Nym. It's been a while." Harry said calmly trying to hide his annoyance. This was the last thing he needed since it might expose some things he very much wanted to keep a secret.
"It has. So how do you like the Hogwarts Express." Tonks said cheekily.
"It was fine. Lyra is a wonderful young woman." Harry replied flatly.
"Yep. By the way if you meet her brother get ready because he's a piece of work." Tonks warned.
"ENOUGH!" Lyra shouted growing tired of their little fun.
"What. I haven't seen him since his birthday party." Dora smiled. That was a total lie, but Lyra didn't need to know that yet.
"That's all fine and good, but according to Harry, we were behind Privacy and Notice-Me-Not wards. There's no way you should've found us." Lyra frowned.
"Our dear cousin Sirius was a former auror and I'm trying to become one when I leave Hogwarts. To help me along Sirius taught me a special trick that let' me find anybody I want as long as I know what their magical signature is." Tonks smiled.
"Whoa" Tracey gasped, and Lyra was stunned while Daphne and Harry narrowed their eyes.
'What the fuck are you thinking Nym.' Harry cursed. This was a disaster and Tonks was going to ruin his plans before they even got started.
"Putting how you guys found us to the side, what's this about you guys, and therefore Harry and Lyra, being cousins." Daphne spoke up glad for a change of subject.
"Sirius's mother Walburga had an aunt named Dorea Black. Her husband was Charlus Potter and Harry's Great Uncle if I remember correctly. It's an insane family tree so I might not have all the details right."
"So that's why Harry can be named Heir of House Black." Lyra said with a bit of surprise. She knew her father tried to contest Harry's appointment as Heir Black, but it failed, and she never found out why.
"Yep. By the way just because you guys are cousins doesn't mean you can't snog him if you want." Tonks teased causing Lyra to blush
"What!" Lyra exclaimed and off to the side Harry was not happy with his cousins antics but didn't want to ruin the façade.
"Yep. In order to keep the bloodline pure, it wasn't rare back in the day for cousins to hook up. In fact, I heard a rumor that your mum and Sirius."
"That's enough Nym stop teasing the poor girl." Harry interrupted finally tired of watching from the sidelines. In one fell swoop Tonks could've ruined everything he did thus far.
"Sorry sorry. Admittedly I wanted to check on you to see how you were doing and I'm glad I did now."
"Why's that." Harry said flatly.
"In about 10 minutes I gotta leave for Prefect meetings and once that's done they're going to do inspections of the train. Considering the Prefects will easily recognize the wards you've set up, it will cause questions that you probably don't want answered." Tonks said calmly.
"Are they that serious about things." Tracey frowned.
Tonks smiled, "No that's"
"Nymphadora!" Lyra scowled interrupting her cousin.
"You know I don't like that name Lyra." Tonks scowled.
"And you know how I hate that joke." Lyra replied.
Tonks shrugged, "Fair enough. When you spend enough time around the guy, that joke becomes second nature."
"That's the problem" Lyra said dryly.
Tonks cracked a smile since she had her fun and it was time to go, "Anyway, see ya later Lyra. Harry. Hope you guys enjoy your first taste of Hogwarts" Tonks smiled before leaving.
"Bye Dora." Lyra spoke up.
"See ya Nym." Harry said flatly. As Tonks left Harry took a brief glance at the girls hoping that they didn't realize what was going on. Unfortunately for him, Daphne had a very contemplative expression on her face and that spelled trouble. Hopefully his fun wasn't over before it started.

Following Tonks' advice, Harry removed the barriers as the Prefects walked by and once that was over and done with, there was one last thing to deal with, "If I'm not mistaken we have about an hour left until we get to Hogwarts so how about we get changed now." Harry said calmly.
"Why now?" Daphne wondered.
"Most people won't think to put their uniforms on until the last visit and it will cause far less drama if people don't know where I am and that I spent the last 6 hours with you guys." Harry replied. While that was certainly true. It was mostly about keeping where he was a secret and avoiding the idiots from before.
The girls looked at each other and nodded, "Sounds good." Daphne spoke up acting as the representative of the group.
"You girls change first. Since I can change in an instant, it makes sense for you to go first" Harry replied.
Daphne and Lyra raised their eyebrows, but a smile appeared on Tracey's face, "In that case, change in front of us right now." Tracey smiled.
"What are you doing Tracey!" Lyra frowned.
"If he can change instantly, it shouldn't be a big deal." Tracey replied.
Harry could appreciate that and reached into his pocket and pulling out the miniature version of the trunk, before placing it on the floor. With his trunk out, Harry flared his magic slightly activating the rune and expanding the trunk right in front of him. With no concern for the three teenage girls in front of him, Harry grabbed his uniform and put it in front of him with everything visible. "Showtime." Harry smiled and he flared his magic again summoning his wand from the holster. One swish and flick and before the girls eyes Harry had changed into his uniform with his clothes on the floor.
"Whoa." Tracey gasped at the flawless change.
"Like I said instant." Harry replied.
"I thought only House elves could change you that quickly." Lyra gasped.
"That's where I got the idea from. I watched my personal house elf do it and I figured I'd learn how to do it myself. It's technically an advanced spell because if you do it wrong it could cause quite the awkward situation. For example I could've forgotten to switch the upper part and been topless." Harry smiled causing the girls to blush in front of him at the thought of a shirtless Harry or even if something else hadn't made it.
"Bummer" Tracey whispered.
"What was that." Harry smiled having heard that.
"Nothing!" Tracey gasped.
Harry smiled before putting his clothes away and locking his trunk. Flaring his magic twice, his wand returned to its holster and his trunk was shrunk once again, "Well, I'll be outside." Harry smiled walking outside and closing the door so the girls could change.
Just as planned, he was all alone, and he had a chance to relax as he reflected on the trip and how things had gone. He was annoyed at Nym for revealing that trick since it wouldn't be a stretch to assume Sirius taught him that trick also. Fortunately, Lyra didn't seem to pick that up. Daphne was a slightly different story but if she knew and didn't say anything it would be okay. 'I should definitely punish Nym for that later.' Harry mused to himself as he waited for the girls to change.
About five minutes past and Daphne peaked out of the door with just her face, "Wait about 30 seconds and then come in." Daphne said with a blush before going back in.
Harry was pleasantly surprised since a few things instantly stood out from the brief conversation. First, was the fact that Daphne peeked out with only her head. Second was the fact she asked him to wait 30 seconds before coming in so that meant she had set something up with the girls during the time he'd been outside. Bracing himself, he walked inside but before he could close the door he froze at the incredible sight in front of him. Daphne Tracey and Lyra were each in their underwear with their bodies on full display. Lyra was on the right side in a dark red bra that comfortably held her C cup chest with matching panties that showed off a nice lithe body. Daphne was in the middle sporting a forest green number that showed off Low D cup chest with a green t-back showing off a model like body with a heart shaped ass. Tracey was on the left in a sports bra top that hid her B cup breasts from view and bloomer like bottoms. She had a swimmer's body which was lovely in its own way. "What do you think." Lyra wondered breaking him from his musings.
Harry quickly turned back and closed the door so nobody else saw him and then took another few seconds to gather himself, "I think you girls are amazing and I wish I hadn't put my robes on." Harry smiled. All three girls looked amazing, and he was rock hard underneath his robes.
"You could just… take them back off." Tracey blushed and looking at Lyra and Daphne they wouldn't have been too upset.
'True and as tempting as that is, and believe me it is quite tempting, I have to ask. Why now?"
"Well… um." Lyra stammered.
"Lyra was concerned that once you told Sirius what happened, he would make things miserable for her family and that buying the food wasn't enough to ensure that she didn't escape harm." Daphne explained.
"Don't act like you didn't want to show off also." Lyra blushed.
Daphne smiled at her response, "Oh I'd be lying if showing off for Harry wasn't something I want to do but you brought it up to us." Daphne retorted.
Harry smirked before looking at Tracey, "And what about you. Where did you stand in all this"
"These two owed me for not getting me in on the photos over all this time." Tracey replied.
"I didn't want my parents finding out and you're a blabbermouth." Lyra protested.
"So is Stori but she got to do the photos also." Tracey countered
"Stori is the one who started this by sending Harry a photo of me and her." Daphne protested.
Harry snorted because this was clearly planned, "Short version is Lyra wanted to convince me not to ruin the Malfoy's, Tracey wanted a regular chance to show off for me, and Daphne went along with it because she wanted to show off to me also and now was as good a time as any. As a result you girls decided to get in your underwear and invite me back in." Harry replied.
"Pretty much." Daphne replied.
Harry rolled his eyes, "Well I'm afraid there's good news and bad news girls." Harry spoke.
"Good news first." Lyra said eagerly.
"The good news is I'm definitely impressed by all three of you. Daphne you're absolutely gorgeous and going to turn heads for the next 7 years. Lyra you're very attractive in your own right. Tracey, you're amazing for a sporty girl and I think the boys of Hogwarts are in for a treat when we're not stuck in these bulky robes." Harry smirked.
"And yet there's bad news." Daphne frowned.
Harry smiled as he approached Daphne and cupped her face with his right hand, "The bad news is that right now I want to bend you girls against the compartment walls and make you scream my name, but I can't because we're out of time." Harry replied. For somebody who had been so calculated thus far, this was a reckless step but considering they initiated that, he shouldn't be shocked.
"Oh" Daphne blushed, and the others weren't far behind
Harry smiled before letting go and focusing on Lyra, "As for you."
"W-What?" Lyra stammered.
Harry wrapped his arms around her slim waist and pulled her into his body, "You were never in any danger after what happened with Draco. Even if you hadn't done all of this, I would've told Sirius what Draco said and how you were ashamed of his actions. He knows purebloods far better and would act in a way that wouldn't endanger you at all. Now I'm not complaining at all since you look amazing, but it was unnecessary" Harry smiled.
"Okay." Lyra blushed heavily. She couldn't believe she was this close to him and off to the side Daphne and Tracey were smirking.
Harry pulled away before looking at Tracey who was eager to see what happened next, "So what do I get?" Tracey huffed.
Harry smiled as he walked over to her, "What would you like to get." Harry smiled as he put his left hand just above her shapely rear with his right settling a few inches below her breasts.
Tracey blushed because usually she never got this type of attention and a simple movement would be all it took to start a very interesting chain reaction, "I… I…" Tracey stammered.
"Times up. You'll just have to settle for this." Harry smiled as he kissed her on the forehead.
"Not fair." Tracey pouted.
Harry pulled away with a smile, "Consider this a sneak preview of what's to come girls because after this display I have no intention of letting any of you go. Now I'm going to go sit down while you guys get changed. Wouldn't want anybody else to see the heavenly sight in front of me." Harry smiled as he walked over and sat down on the opposite part of the train.
The girls blushed before ultimately getting changed with Harry right there. Each of them was quite aroused by what happened, and each girl planned to do something like this again, house be damned.
(Scene Skip)
The train finally came to a stop at Hogwarts, and it was time to disperse. 'Here we go.' Harry thought to himself as the group of four got out along with everyone else. Thankfully everyone was focused on leaving and nobody had picked up on him and the girls yet.
"First years with me." A large man with a massive beard said calmly as he held a lantern. According to Sirius this was Rubeus Hagrid the gamekeeper and Harry and the group fell in line.
"That guys is huge." Tracey gasped.
"That guy is Hagrid, he's the gamekeeper and a nice guy from what I've been told." Harry replied.
"Got it." Tracey smiled.
Harry prepared for the walk in peace when an annoying sound ruined his calm, "Lyra! Where the bloody hell were you." the same person who shouted about Sirius spoke up
"Draco can we do this later." Lyra frowned.
Draco frowned before looking at Harry and sneered, 'Who the hell are you." Draco frowned.
Harry rolled his eyes before ignoring him and focusing on Daphne, "Hey Daphne what class are you looking forward to the most." Harry smiled before continuing to walk. While he learned quite a bit about the girls during the trip and vice versa, they hadn't discussed Hogwarts itself.
Daphne blinked not expecting Harry to blatantly ignore Draco and followed along, "Potions." Daphne replied.
Harry continued to ignore Malfoy, "That must be cool. I bet you're going to be amazing in potions." Harry smiled continuing the walk.
Draco was annoyed at being ignored, "Are you listening. I said who the hell are you!" Draco shouted once again as he tried to catch up.
"You're making a scene." Harry finally spoke up.
Draco paused because everyone was looking at them even the people who were ahead of them turned back to do so. "That's your fault for ignoring me." Draco shouted.
Harry rolled his eyes before focusing on back Daphne, "Anyway. What's it like working at an Apothecary." wondered.
"It's definitely interesting. Some days it's boring, some days it's not" Daphne replied enjoying how they'd dismissed Draco
Draco was furious at being dismissed and finally acted out, "Lyra let's go. Clearly you shouldn't be associating with a fool like this." Draco scowled
"I think I'll stay right here. If we need to talk we can do it later." Lyra said.
Draco was furious but even now he could see people staring back at them as they walked up, "Father will here of this Lyra." Draco shouted before leaving.
Harry smiled as the boy returned to a pair of large boys and a girl with a pug face, "That was fun." Harry replied.
"Yes it was. Draco's not going to enjoy that." Lyra answered.
"He'll enjoy it even less when he realizes who I am later." Harry said with a cheeky grin. Most of the world identified him from the scar he got from Voldemort but that was long gone. Sirius intentionally lengthened his hair for the chocolate frog card so nobody would notice but now it was at it's usual short length.
Lyra's eyes widened, "Oh wow you're right."
"Yeah. I wish I could've joined in on the fun." Tracey pouted slightly.
"Probably better that you didn't. You know how Draco views Half-bloods." Lyra reminded her.
"Right" Tracey replied, and the journey continued.
The group was ultimately led to an absolutely massive lake that seemed to go on forever, "Four to a boat." Hagrid said calmly and Harry got in with Daphne and Tracey taking the spots next to him with a scowling Lyra on the side. As they started to go Harry could practically feel the eyes on them and he knew why. Draco may not have realized who he was, but others clearly did and the looks varied. Girls were jealous because of Daphne Tracey and Lyra and boys were jealous that he was sitting with Daphne Tracey and Lyra.
'You're quite popular huh Harry." Tracey teased breaking him from his musings.
"Yup but that's going to be a constant." Harry replied focusing on two particular reactions from the various ones coming their way. The first was the dirty glare that a boy with red hair and freckles was sending and the second was of Lyra's brother who was furious that Lyra ignored them.
Eventually they arrived at Hogwarts with only a shout from a young boy standing out. A quick glance towards the boy revealed a toad in his lap which meant he was Neville. Disembarking first, he helped the three girls up and smiled as they slowly approached for a quiet last leg of the trip. At least until an unfortunate intervention ruined his plans.
"Hold on mate." A voice shouted and he looked towards the red head who quickly ran towards their group.
"And you are." Harry said calmly.
"Ron Weasley mate. You should stay away from Malfoy here." the newly introduced boy said calmly.
"Why?" Harry frowned and the girls looked at him coldly.
"Because her family's evil and." Ron stopped because out of nowhere he went flying into the air and in what had to be the funniest coincidence ever, slammed into Malfoy just as he was getting out causing both boys to fall into the water.
"Whoa" Tracey gasped at the display.
"I thought I was over accidental magic. I guess seeing such a manchild caused my inner child to act up." Harry smiled nonchalantly. It was far from accidental, but they didn't need to know that.
Lyra was more focused on the fact that Weasley hit Draco and after what they heard earlier it wouldn't end well "Oh well." Lyra smiled.
Daphne narrowed her eyes briefly before smiling herself, "Well hopefully both of them cool off."
"Well played." Harry chuckled and they followed along. They were ultimately brought to an older Scottish woman with green robes.
"Here you are Professor McGonagall." Hagrid said calmly.
"Thank you Hagrid" McGonagall smiled.
(Scene Skip)
As they arrived at the Great Hall, Harry regained his composure after a rather interesting display. McGonagall's was about to say something to the new students, but she was cut off by a shouting Draco and Ron who apparently hadn't stopped yelling at each other since Ron was launched into him at the lake. McGonagall asked what happened and Draco shouted that this oaf flew into him out of nowhere. Ron said he was trying to rescue his best mate from those 'dirty snakes' and McGonagall's expression soured immediately. She said that Ron will lose 100 points from whatever House he's sorted into and would serve a month of detention for his words. Ron tried to protest, and McGonagall said that if he continued she'd be forced to expel him, and Ron shut up immediately. Harry did his best not to laugh because Ron royally put his foot in his mouth.
"Well, this was a fun start." Harry smiled.
"Yeah. You've made quite a few enemies already." Daphne whispered. Weasley didn't strike her as the intelligent type and would blame harry for what happened. He wasn't wrong but the way he acted thoroughly deserved what happened. Malfoy would be equally annoyed since he was humiliated by Harry ignoring him and if he suspected Harry had any involvement, a hard stretch given how clueless he was, it would only get worse.
"When I call your name, you will come up and I will place the hat on you to be sorted." McGonagall replied. Harry glanced at the old ratty hat on a large ornate chair with golden trim and red leather.
"Showtime" Harry smiled as he prepared for the sorting. The first name was Hannah Abott a cute girl with blue eyes and blonde hair in pig tails. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and he saw her walk over to a table and a quick glance allowed him to find Tonks sitting next to her best friend Hestia Jones and some unfamiliar people further down the table.
"Susan Bones." McGonagall shouted.
Susan was a lovely red head with gray eyes, and she was slightly nervous as she walked up.
"HUFFLEPUFF" the hat shouted, and Susan quickly ran over to the Hufflepuff table to join Hannah.
Harry watched as multiple students were sorted into the houses and then came the first of his little group. "Tracey Davis." McGonagall said calmly. Tracey walked up with a smile and took the hat. It was on her head for about a minute before shouting.
"SLYTHERIN"
Slytherin clapped politely as Tracey walked over to the group of newly sorted Slytherin's and there were quite a few of them. A pair of twins Flora and Hestia Carrow sat across from each other with a smile as they spoke with a chubby girl named Millicent Bulstrode who sat next to Hestia. Another notable was one of the boys with Draco, his name was Vincent Crabbe and he sat next to Millicent. Not long after that was Gregory Goyle who sat next to Crabbe. Tracey sat a spot over from Goyle.
A few students later and another familiar name was called, "Daphne Greengrass."
Daphne walked up with confidence and within a minute was given, "SLYTHERIN."
Daphne bit her lip slightly, a sign of nervousness before sitting next to Tracey.
"Good." Lyra said calmly and Harry rolled his eyes. If he didn't know better he'd say the girls planned something. Then again, he didn't hear them during the brief time he was outside so who knows what was discussed.
After a few more students were sent away it was fun time, "Draco Malfoy."
Draco walked up with a pompous expression on his face, and the hat didn't even get to his head before shouting, "SLYTHERIN"
Slytherin loudly cheered before walking over and sitting in front of Crabbe and Goyle with two spots between him and Flora who was very annoyed if her frown was any indication.
"Lyra Malfoy" the hat shouted, and she walked up. Lyra was nervous but much like her brother the hat barely got over her head before she joined Tracey and Daphne in Slytherin. Lyra cracked a smile before sitting across from Daphne and three spots away from her brother leaving a spot for him in front of Daphne.
Harry watched as Slytherin received two more people in Theodore Nott, who sat next to Draco and Lilith Moon who occupied the spot next to Flora. Lilith was a lovely young woman with shiny black hair and stormy grey eyes.
The next to go was the pug haired girl named Pansy who was sorted into Slytherin and sat next to Draco leaving a free spot between her and Flora. Before long, it was his turn at last.
"Harry Potter." McGonagall said firmly.
Harry smiled before walking up as the crowd murmured his name. Glancing over at the Slytherin table he could see that Draco's eyes widened even more. As the hat was put on his head he prepared for a sorting that he knew most of the crowd was looking forward to.
'Mr. Potter, I'll need you to drop your barriers so you can be sorted."
'Apologies' Harry smiled and dropped his occlumency barriers.
'Thank you and oh my you are quite the young man. Incredibly intelligent with a power and wit unlike anything I've seen in a long time. I'm fairly sure Albus would love to see you sorted into Gryffindor but the best place for you is rather obvious.'
"SLYTHERIN." The hat shouted and the Great Hall was silent. The Slytherin's almost seemed unsure of what to think, and the Gryffindor house was caught off guard.
Harry walked towards Slytherin with a smile as he focused on a stunned Tracey Daphne and Lyra who were in absolute shock that Harry was in their dorm and at Draco who was a mix of shock and fury himself. Taking his place next to Lyra he smiled, "Did you miss me." Harry smirked.
"Well, things just got fun." Tracey answered.
Harry focused on the rest of the sorting and got quite the chuckle when Ron was sorted into Gryffindor and the letters -100 appeared below an hourglass that was in a group of four off to the side of the various teachers. Ron's walk to Gryffindor was met with a large group of dirty glares and Harry was all smiles since he richly deserved it. The final person to be sorted was Blaise Zabini a dark skinned young man and he sat between Harry and Theodore with Julie Runcorn, a black haired girl with brown eyes, occupying the spot next to Tracey. Now everyone was sorted, and it was time for the feast. He had to say this worked out beautifully because he could sit with his girls, and nothing would get in his way.
(Scene Skip)
Dumbledore's speech was a pretty classic one detailing the banned items and places to avoid but one thing stood out, "Telling a bunch of teenagers that there's a place that will guarantee certain death is a really dumb idea." Harry sighed
"Agreed." Julie spoke up.
"Well I give it a month before somebody tries to go after it." Blaise smiled.
"I'd bet you on that, but there's no way to know for sure." Harry smiled.
"True. Blaise Zabini nice to meet you." Blaise said politely.
"Harry Potter." Harry replied.
"So Potter. What was it like being raised by Sirius Black." Julie wondered from the side.
Harry smiled, "First off. The name is Harry. I absolutely refuse to have somebody I'll be living with for the next seven years to only refer to me as my last name." Harry said in a stern tone.
Julie blushed, "Alright. Po-Harry. What was it like being raised by Sirius Black."
"It was fun. He taught me everything he knows and then some." Harry smiled.
"Hmph. Ignore him Runcorn. Sirius Black is a blood traitor who was kicked out of his family and through some minor miracle scammed the goblins into making him the Head of House Black." Draco said coldly causing most of Slytherin to freeze particularly Lyra. Harry knew she wanted to say something, but he reached for her clenched right hand and grabbed it firmly so she could calm down.
"It seems you haven't cooled off from your dip in the lake, so I'll enlighten you." Harry smiled causing Draco to fume more and everyone around them to smile since his dip wasn't something any of them would forget any time soon. "His father was perfectly okay with the now Lord Black's actions and that's why he was able to claim the Lordship. It was all perfectly legal" Harry replied.
Draco wasn't done, "He betrayed his very house."
"What he did was stand firm with his convictions and not let family drama impact his friendship with a long-time ally in James Potter. A man who is from a family that has a history that rivals that of House Black itself"
"And that history was ruined when he married a mudblood." Draco smirked.
Lyra was practically catatonic next to him, and Harry had to squeeze her hand again to keep her in line. This was getting ugly, but he would have the last laugh, "Hey Draco care to answer a question for me." Harry smiled viciously knowing this would hit Malfoy where it hurts.
"What is it Potter." Draco scowled.
"Purebloods are all about name recognition and lineage right." Harry smiled. He had to subtly let go of Lyra's hand because this could get ugly and being seen holding her hand would make things awkward for her. This was between him and Draco and adding her could complicate things unnecessarily.
"Of course we are. It's why we don't use first names like you seem to refuse to do" Draco scoffed.
Harry smiled, "Then why did a bunch of purebloods serve a man who everyone calls Voldemort which you'd know means Flight of Death, if you have any pride in your own family's French ancestry." Harry smiled.
"Watch it Potter." Draco growled. Not that Harry cared. Even the glares coming from the older students not too far away didn't bother him. He was going to send a message and if it made him the enemy of most of the dorm so be it.
"Then tell me Draco. What was the Dark Lord's actual name? Not his nickname or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Can you tell me that." Harry replied nonchalantly.
Draco scowled, "Does it really matter?"
Harry smiled letting go of Lyra', "Yes it does. How powerful and influential he was, cannot be denied, as much as I hate to admit it. Still, Sirius Black stood by his friend instead of serving a man who was either unwilling or unable to tell any of his followers his actual name. Makes you wonder doesn't' it." Harry smiled.
Just as he hoped, that was the final straw for Draco and he snapped, "I challenge you to a duel here and now Potter!" Draco shouted loud enough that everyone was focused on him even those who didn't quite hear what he said.
"Mr. Malfoy what is the meaning of this." A man with greasy black hair said in an icy tone.
"Severus, Potter has insulted me, and he will pay for it right now." Draco replied. Most of the people nearby narrowed their eyes but before anybody could speak up, Severus did for them.
"That is Professor Snape to you Draco. While you are my godson, at school you will address me with my proper title. Is that clear." Snape said in an even more icy tone than before.
"Yes sir." Draco said meekly immediately culled by Snape.
Harry smiled because Draco screwed up in a different way, one that he would take full advantage of, "Professor correct me if I'm wrong, but we have just arrived at a school of magic and have yet to learn a single spell. It's also illegal for underage wizards to perform magic. How can I be expected to do something like dueling under those circumstances." Harry replied nervously though on the inside he was smiling. Underage wizardry was the greatest farce in society because wizarding families had trained their kids from a very young age to do spells. Admitting as much would be horrible form here in the Great Hall with all the Muggleborn students.
"Perhaps I can offer a solution." A short man with a triangle shaped head and a massive white mustache and beard smiled having approached not far behind.
"Of course Professor."
'Filius Flitwick. Charms teacher as well as a dueling champion. If you wish to have a duel then how about this? Each of you will focus your magic and fire it at a globe that will measure your magical power. The winner of the duel will be whoever has the most magical power." Flitwick suggested.
"Fine. I look forward to putting Potter in his place." Draco replied.
"I accept those terms." Harry replied but this was an annoyance. He didn't want to show his full power and that orb would do that. Hopefully he could find a way out.
"The question now is what are the terms you wish to wager." Filius spoke up.
Harry smiled because this could get fun, "Since Draco is the one offended he gets to pick what he wants first." Harry smiled.
Draco smirked, "In that case, if I win, control of House Black goes to me." Draco replied cockily.
"That request is denied. Harry has no right to wager the House Black lordship to you." Dumbledore frowned having finally walked over.
Draco scowled, "In that case he must wager his heirship." Draco replied.
"Mr. Malfoy that's quite enough." Snape spoke up.
"But" Draco protested.
"You've attempted to try and take a lordship and now an heirship. What in the world could possibly justify this" Snape scowled. What was lost on Draco was that the obvious wager back would be the Malfoy Heirship and knowing Draco, he knew that there was no way he would win. He may loathe Sirius Black, but he wouldn't raise a weakling.
Draco froze because saying what Harry spoke would be a horrible look, "I…"
"I see. 200 points from Slytherin and 3 months detention that will be served with me and I will not go easy on you." Snape replied.
Everyone froze at that because Snape was well known to favor Slytherin's and seeing as how Malfoy was his godson it was more shocking, "Yes sir." Draco replied not wanting to argue any further.
"Good. Now I suggest you finish eating before you embarrass yourself further." Snape scowled.
"Right." Draco sighed and returned to his food. As the three teachers returned to their seats since this was resolved. The rest of the feast was silent as everybody tried to figure out what the hell was going on. We hadn't even had classes and two students lost over 100 points and there was even a duel. Hogwarts couldn't be off to a wilder start if they tried.
Notes:• It's unclear how long the actual trip takes but I'm going to put it at eight hours give or take. Honestly that's a detail that would really help fanfiction writers at least as far as I'm concerned.
• The underwear scene is very much intentional and calls back to Harry's words to Lyra at the end of the meeting at Madam Malkins.
• Harry and Neville is a dynamic I'll deal with later on.
• Slytherin was the obvious choice here for Harry and if it wasn't sort of obvious Blaise will be the best guy friend for this story.
• Harry's point about Voldemort is something that's always bugged me about this story but that's me interjecting something for fun.
• The Draco Harry Lyra dynamic will be a constant theme for the early part of this story so get used to it.
• While it's rather awkward to explain I should open up about the alignment after the sorting. If you're looking at the staff table from left to right it is Gryffindor Hufflepuff Ravenclaw Slytherin.
After the sorting the students are something like this
Inside Right Far right
Harry Daphne
Lyra Tracey
Blaise Julie
Theo
Draco Goyle
Pansy Crabbe
Lilith Millicent
Flora Hestia
So Harry is on the inside part next to Ravenclaw and near the teacher's table which is why they intervened when Draco shouted.
