The car is completely quiet, there's no music blasting, Kelsey's not asking questions, and Angelo, Wendy and JJ are not singing along to any kind of music. In fact, everyone's quiet just like Chris always is in the car. There's a kind of silence that exists only in the guise of fear and worry. The thought of a powerful demon being set loose and making everyone do certain things they don't want to do is scary for everyone.
Even the ones who have been killing demons for a long time. They're not scared of the demon. They're just scared of not catching the demon before it does so much damage. Kelsey on the other hand is scared of both.
Her father's a pastor and she was always taught by him to never fear demons. She never thought of being scared of them because one, they're invisible and two, she's always trusted God to protect her. And now there's an actual demon making people do things of course she's going to be a bit scared. Her faith has to be stronger than ever at this point.
