Rolling waves of fire surged forward, and Peter immediately leaped sideways to dodge, rising up and retaliating with his Gatling guns.
Two Gatling guns fired simultaneously, their gunfire blending into a continuous roar. The magic energy bullets formed two unbroken lines, accurately landing on the Lava Demon.
But against such powerful attacks, the Lava Demon, though struck fiercely and erupting with sparks, seemed to bear little serious harm. It didn't even retreat a step. Instead, it roared while shielding its chest with its arms and charged at Peter.
The giant, over four meters tall, sprinted with unimaginable speed, reaching Peter in the blink of an eye.
"Damn it!"
Peter hadn't anticipated that the Lava Demon's defensive power would be so strong, nor that it would be so fast. He had no choice but to dodge sideways once more, barely avoiding its charge. However, as he jumped away and just managed to regain his footing, the Lava Demon hurled two fireballs at him.
