After seeing both Meganium and Pidgeot, Mike then start to get to his work.
He first unlock Mega Ability first, he already know what they dose. So he upgrade then to Max to see what kind of changes it can make.
Then he also have Heracross with it's skill point. He didn't go very high only make it the same as Pidgeot. So after some time 4 Pokemons status look like this.

"How do feel Heracross. Do feel more stronger now," Mike said as he finished his adding. Heracross prior to adding points was already powerful. So he doesn't need to be in sleeping condition.
"Herr..coss!!" Heracross answer with a smile and nodded its head.
Then Mike with the group begun there journey. But Heracross heard, that Mike was looking for ground type Pokemon to work in the farm. So it took them to a nearby mountain.
Then Heracross took the lead as it was leading them forward. They walk about and hour to finally reached the place.
It was a mountain range where ground and rock type Pokemon can be found everywhere.
They found various types of Pokemon in here. Mostly Geodude and Diglett. They are not very good at excavation work.
Diglett will run away seeing them. So they found it hard to catch them.
Mike then see a Pokemon by the side of a rock chilling. It seems to don't want to move.
It was a yellow Pokemon, with brick-patterned hide look dry and tough, can be blends in with desert sand, and protects its soft white underbelly. It was as Sandshrew, a Pokemon that has a good digging ability.
Seeing this Mike was delightful, as he was about too go to it, and talk about getting it on the team.
Before he could act he saw a blure and a Pokemon already run toward it. With a quick Bullet punch make the Pokemon faint on the spot.
Heracross then come toward Mike with a smile, and it seems to said that the job is done with a thumbs up.
Mike shakes his head with a faint smile. Then took out a PokeBall, capture the faint Pokemon. He then also praise Heracross as it seems to like it.
Then Mike again release Sandshrew, give it some berries to heal it. Then he told it to come with as it would be a great asset.
Sandshrew also don't have anything to do, so it readily accept the offer, after Mike bribe it with food.
Pokemon has simple needs and wants. With enough sincerity, give enough food and have place to stay, they are happily help with work.
So with Sandshrew agreeing, Mike begins to get on the road once again. Before that they have lunch at the foot of the mountain.
Then Mike has the chance to inspect the status of Sandshrew.

'It was was not bad, as it has very good move set. With a little help it can be a good Pokemon for battle.'Mike thought.
But Mike decided to not think much about it. Mike will slowly upgrade it.
Mike give it some point to help it upgrade some of it's move and ability. The main focus was on its ability, as well as the move Dig, that was vital to have when needed for ground works.So the changes was ..
[Sand Veil (Max): Can hide in the Sand, with evasion increase to 100%. So when there was a Sandstorm it was pretty impossible to detect it.]
[Sand Rush (Max): Increase 4 time the speed when in Sandstorm.]
[Dig (Maximum): Damage increase by 2 time the normal, can be used more quickly. Can quickly get underground. Can stay underground for long amount of time.]
With this it was able to move to the Advance Rank. It was also able to evolve into Sandslash.
Although not very powerful, it was okay for the time being. If needed Mike can always make it stronger.
Now that with all the thing he wanted from the forest. He now can flew on Pidgeot too go to the Goldenrod city directly.
He spent about 3 days now. There was still time for him before he needs to go back to his ranch.
A normal Pidgeot can fly with Mach 2 speed. His Pokémon can fly at Mach 3 at full speed. But he can't handle this much speed. So he has to let him go slower.
The distance if the traveling guide he got, that has a map. So according the map form the current place, the distance was about 300 Km.
So he can get there with a minimum of half an hour. So with Pidgeot he can get back and forth between Green wood town and the Goldenrod city about an half hour, the distance was about 500 Km between them.
Now Mike with ample amount of time, he can now enjoy his time looking around.
As Mike was thinking about things when he was already walking with his Pokémon. He only has Meganium and Heracross out for now.
Pidgeot was very fast, it has to circle around them to keep up with them. So Mike have him in the PokeBall, as not to let him get tired out. He would need it for the rest of the journey.
After more walking Mike see that the sun was gradually setting, he stopped for the day.
Have all of his Pokemon out, then he begins to make dinner for them. After dinner Mike also start making the tent and get to sleep.
The next day, after waking up everyone. They eat there breakfast. Then Mike finally decided to experience the joy of flying.
He have every one of his Pokemon in there PokeBall apart from Pidgeot.
He then sit on Pidgeot. Tell it to move slowly, to get better with the flying.
"Woooo!!" Mike yell out in excitement. This was the dream of many, to flying in the open sky.
After some more fun getting used to. Mike have Pidgeot too go to the direction he told him to go.
With Mike directing him, they flew over many Pokemon, after about half an hour they land in front of the city gate.
Mike then dismount Pidgeot. Slowly begun to get into the city. There was many people and Pokemon going around.
Every city has a rule about what size of Pokemon was allowed to r roam free. Only the small size Pokemon can be left out of the PokeBall.
Mikes Pokemon all was very big or unique so he doesn't want to cause a commotion. So he move around the city alone.
He first wants to visit the building of Sliph co. As one of the leading company for all thing Pokemon related they have branch in all the big citys.
Hes visit was also for this reason. The thing he needs can only be found in those big stores.
