Tears slipped down Rose's face. Going to her house and returning to the dark castle was a huge contrast to her emotions; it triggered all she'd been trying to bury.
However, she was no fool. She had agreed to Cassius' idea of loving him because she also saw it as a way to get him to trust her. Just as Felonious had instructed, she had to win his trust as part of the bonding process before her abilities could be used fully.
