Fear was a reaction imbued within the very soul of all things living.
A tense moment. A chill that gives goosebumps or runs down the spine.
A moment that sends palpitations through the very heart and soul of a creature.
A trembling shiver.
Richard had felt fear before. But this was on another level.
He chuckled bitterly,
"How naive for me to think it ends here."
Fear was what it was, but leading a life ruled by it was rather miserable.
He closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath.
The image of his head flying into the air was still fresh in his mind. Luckily, he had wisely kept {Tinted Eye} active. If he hadn't, he would most likely be dead.
But what was it that killed him?
Suddenly, the eerie figures of the others in the distance shimmered away. Now, he was completely enveloped by darkness once again.
He huffed as he drew his blade. The weapon was pitch black like the darkness surrounding it, reflecting absolutely no light.
