Buzz!!!

Fraxure was seen holding Muk high, energy condensing in its abdomen. However, the energy that originally belonged to Dragon Rage began to change.

The blue energy shifted, turning into a bright blue light, then gradually into orange-red, emitting an even stronger force.

"This is!" Ash stared at the glowing energy, his expression changing slightly as he felt the overwhelming power.

"Fraxure!" Fraxure growled. The energy condensation completed as it gathered strength from its abdomen. The energy traveled to its back, through its throat, and surged into its mouth.

Boom!!!

With a thunderous roar, the energy was released upward from Fraxure's mouth, directly striking Muk, who had been held above its head. Muk was sent flying by the force of the attack.

The orange energy launched Muk high into the night sky. From a distance, an orange beam of light could be seen shooting straight into the clouds, and then…

Boom!!!

Upon reaching its peak, the energy exploded. The orange light blossomed in the sky like fireworks, scattering in all directions and falling like a meteor shower.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The assault continued as the scattered energy rained down, impacting the ground below. The Grimers surrounding them couldn't escape in time and were struck by the descending energy. What had been a tight siege was neutralized by the large-scale attack.

"It's incredible! This is…" Misty exclaimed, her eyes widening as she looked in Ash's direction, astonished by the sudden turn of events.

"Draco Meteor!" Ash identified the move, though he was stunned. He hadn't expected Fraxure, newly evolved from Axew, to unleash such a powerful Dragon-type ultimate move.

Draco Meteor is one of the most formidable moves for Dragon-type Pokémon. It launches energy into the sky, which explodes and rains down as a devastating large-scale attack.

It can create a large-scale attack that is difficult for rivals to evade, with astonishing power.

Originally, Draco Meteor only released energy into the air, exploding to cause scattered damage. However, because Muk was directly above Fraxure's head, it was struck directly and sent flying. Muk and the energy were carried into the air together, so when Draco Meteor exploded, it inflicted a second stage of damage.

A dark figure fell from the sky, smoke trailing from its body. With a "pia" sound, Muk hit the ground and stuck there motionless.

"Now!" Ash shouted, seizing the moment. He swiftly retrieved a Poké Ball and hurled it at Muk.

Boom!!!

The Poké Ball struck Muk accurately, opening with a flash as Muk turned into a red light and was absorbed. The Poké Ball landed on the ground, shaking slightly.

Bang!!!

After trembling briefly, the Poké Ball emitted a sound, and the red light faded. The capture was successful. The devastating blow left Muk with no chance to resist.

As the light on the Poké Ball flashed briefly, it disappeared from sight—it was sent automatically to Professor Oak's Laboratory since Ash's team was at full capacity.

"Wow wow wow!!!"

The Grimers around exchanged alarmed looks before showing expressions of shock. Panic-stricken, they fled, jumping into the river. Even the Grimers blocking the water rushed away.

With the Grimers gone, a surge of water poured into the channel entrance, clearing the area and allowing water to flow back into the power plant.

Control Room

"Ah! The power is restored!" exclaimed a staff member in the control room as the computers powered up and the dim lights suddenly illuminated. The entire power plant came alive, and on the other side, Ash and his friends watched the retreating Grimers. The lights around the plant lit up, and they all let out a collective sigh of relief.

"Great! With the power back on, the Pokémon Center should be fine now, right?" Brock said, his relief evident as he surveyed the situation.

"Are you... Officer Jenny?" The staff, who had been preoccupied with restoring power, approached Ash's group. Spotting Officer Jenny, one of them stepped forward.

"Hello! Sorry for the confusion. I'm here investigating the power outage," Officer Jenny explained as she approached the staff. "It was caused by Grimers blocking the water inlet for the power generation system."

"I see," the staff member said thoughtfully. "The Grimers nearby have been very active recently. I didn't think they'd go as far as blocking the water inlet!"

"But will they just give up on this place so easily?" Misty asked, her gaze shifting to the direction where the Grimers had retreated.

"I don't know," Ash replied quietly. "Maybe they'll try again. Or maybe they'll leave for good." His voice was calm but tinged with uncertainty.

The group pondered the situation. Ash mused that while the Grimers might fight to defend their habitat, the absence of a strong leader like Muk could diminish their resolve. If the pollution in the area were purified, the Grimers would likely have no choice but to leave and find a new home.

Officer Jenny sighed, breaking the silence. "But if we don't act, over 1.5 million people in this city—and countless Pokémon—will continue to suffer in a polluted environment."

The weight of the situation was clear to everyone. Officer Jenny hesitated, her sympathy for the Grimers evident, but she knew the harsh reality: the city and its residents had to come first. While the decision might seem unfair to the Grimers, it was the choice that would bring the greatest benefit to both humans and Pokémon.
