Jin Yu initially didn't hear, and Xu Niannian called out to him again.
"Jin Yu?"
The familiar voice reached Jin Yu's ears, and he snapped back to reality, looking at Xu Niannian, "Hmm? What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
As he spoke, he made to get out of bed to check on her.
Xu Niannian hurriedly shook her head, "I'm fine, it's you who's in trouble."
"Me?" Jin Yu paused mid-movement, then lay back down, staring at the ceiling, "What's wrong with me?"
"Are you having a hard time?" Xu Niannian asked.
"Not at all!"
Jin Yu flatly denied.
Xu Niannian, feeling helpless, got out of bed and came to his side.
"What are you doing, lie back down. Don't pull at your wounds." Jin Yu frowned as he saw her approaching, his handsome face tensing up.
Xu Niannian stretched out her hand to pinch his face, and didn't go back.
