After walking around the marketplace for a while, the four asked an Outer Sect Disciple and learned that most of the elixirs, magical treasures, and talismans sold here were made by disciples within the sect. This revealed the stark difference between Inner Sect and Outer Sect disciples. Inner Sect disciples could receive cultivation resources once a month, and they could sell the items they refined or no longer needed in the marketplace. Outer Sect disciples, however, weren't afforded such privileges and had to struggle for their cultivation resources and lodging fees.
