At this moment, from Meg to Petyr, from Red Sun to Spawn, and from Rintaro to Orochimaru, all were thinking the same thing.
Why was she here? What was she looking at? Did Kai ask her to watch over this struggle?
Questions like these were involuntarily surfacing in their minds because the scene they were seeing didn't make any sense.
It was Cersei.
She was standing there, on the Grand Balcony, looking at everyone with her green eyes.
"You will get hurt," Meg's warning boomed, not unkindly. "Master will have to call you out again, then. Go back…"
"Did you get a Jaegar, too?!" Rintaro asked excitedly, his voice booming out from Striker Eureka. "You can't control it, though… Hmm… Maybe Ms. Virgin is right. You should go back."
Red Sun looked up at the sky, thinking if he should immediately use Angel Arm or not.
Orochimaru didn't tolerate the existence of the weak, showing his displeasure through his frown. If she hadn't been Red's plaything, he would have ripped the pages holding her tale from the Grimoire.
According to Orochimaru, even Moraine the Elegant he had heard so much about these days was better than Cersei. That Contestant had already become a Demon Slayer.
Petyr was harsh with his thoughts, but even harsher with his words.
"Did you come to say… Power is Power, Cersei?" The Herald of Chaos question boomed as well, slighting her. "Or perhaps… 1300 years of accomplishing nothing had made you restless?
"If I am right, then shouldn't you be making the bed for my lord… that's where you belong, no?"
Spawn's white eyes, glowing green, narrowed hearing such a heinous insult and remark at a woman's character.
However, she didn't intervene, her heart echoing with Petyr's underlying message.
Cersei Lannister, the Lioness of Casterly Rock, was weak and should stay where she belonged.
Like Petyr and Orochimaru, she could trigger her Act without Kai's assistance, too.
But, according to all, Blood Prophecy had hardly any real application when it came to offense; or defense, for that matter.
Yes, Cersei still had shadow powers. If it came to raw battle power, then she could rival against a Top-level 8th floor Contestant. It was no wonder her Bounty had increased to 190,000,000 Berries.
And, yes, she also possessed Observation Haki. But that wouldn't work, either.
Every single one vying for supremacy within the Bounded Field had a way to counter it.
It had come so far, in fact, that they thought her gaining Observation Haki was a result of her spending too much time with Kai.
Our master has rubbed it on her, I guess, along with… other things, Petyr had joked once with Red Sun, sharing a laugh when they were all sitting in the Throne Hall together.
Isn't she supposed to be good at manipulation? Moraine had once asked innocently.
Yes, Petyr had replied, making sure everyone heard him. That's one more skill that is wasted on our lord. Like he needs others to make his plans for him. Haha!
A Wasted Tale…
Pointless Character…
If people were reading her tale, then their thoughts would also be resonating with Petyr and other members.
Why wasn't Kai replacing her already? Wasn't he incapable of love? Then why was he keeping her around, when there was no lack of women whose tale he could devour?
Just What Was The Point Of Cersei's Tale?!
Cersei stood on the balcony, her back tall.
The black, diamond-like mark on her forehead pulsed.
Shadows began crawling over her body, becoming a glossy, skin-tight, black suit. It covered her entire body, reaching to her nose, letting her eyes remain in the open.
Two huge, bat-like wings appeared on her back.
With a flap, she left the Grand Balcony and hovered in the air.
Then, slowly but surely, she began gliding toward the center of the battlefield, her gaze all-encompassing, her back straight.
"What does He want?" Cersei asked Meg, making the latter frown.
"What does He desire?" Cersei asked Rintaro, but got no response from him, either.
"What does He seek from a Character?" Cersei asked Red Sun, sending a chill running down his spine for no reason.
"Is it… uniqueness?" Cersei asked Spawn, who went quieter than quiet.
"Is it… power?" Orochimaru narrowed his slitted eyes as he matched Cersei's green, her loose golden hair dancing in the wind.
"Or is it… knowledge?" Cersei asked Petyr.
The Herald of Chaos chuckled, sending out terrifying bronze fluctuations. "I know what he doesn't need," he jested, mocking her to the last. "A Worthless Queen of Absolutely Nothing."
Cersei Lannister looked at everyone again and knew they agreed with Petyr. She smiled.
Under the stunned gazes of everyone, Cersei closed her eyes and slowly lifted her arms, her words surprisingly booming louder than ever, like a shadowy thunder had manifested in the Bounded Field.
"I am not a queen…"
A black tiara of shadow manifested on her head, giving her the most queenly appearance.
"I am not the queen…"
The Grimoire hanging overhead in the sky let out the grandest burst, its red-black flames shooting to the unknown dimensions.
"I am His queen… now and forever…"
Cersei raised her arms to shoulder height, her smile becoming a grin… just like Kai after a well-benefiting kill.
"Uniqueness, Power, and Knowledge are must, but those aren't what He wants, desires, or seeks the most…"
Cersei opened her palms, unfurling her fingers.
All the White Serpent Pirates sensed the doom coming before it fell on them, the very space quaking like a leaf within the Bounded Field.
The Two Tails Matatabi opened its mouth, a Tailed Beast Ball condensing at the tip of his mouth. Behind it, the Puppet King Ghidorah roared, yellow lightning surrounded it like a cloak.
Red Sun cursed, instantly turning his entire right arm into the Angel Arm, deciding to use it on the Character from the get-go.
The Striker Eureka's chest welled up, six enormous cannons blazing hot, ready to fire missiles of annihilation in the very next moment.
Gellert Grindelwald spun out of existence, apparating right behind her, the tip of his wand shining deathly green.
Petyr crouched, crossing the Valyrian swords around him like a hug, the Serpent God's Wrath causing the earth to quake for hundreds of metres, becoming a crater as he shot up.
"Love… Hate… Greed… I know not…" Cersei said, time pausing around her. "When I am with Him, I can see the admiration in His eyes…
"Because I possess the one thing none of you do…"
Gellert Grindelwald's body shattered, the wind scattering away the ash particles.
"… IT IS THE WILL TO BE A CUT ABOVE THE REST…
"… THE WILL TO TRAMPLE ALL AND EVERYTHING…
"… THE WILL TO CONQUER THE PEAK OF ABSOLUTE POWER…"
A sneer bloomed on Cersei's lips. "… definitely not squabble like children…"
Cra-ccccck-kkkkkkk-kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
Her eyes opened, black bolts of shadowy lightning spilling out of her shadowy pupils.
And knees buckled, eyes rolling back in the heads.
