"When do you plan on releasing her?"
Shishou replied, "I'll release her in just a moment."
The reason Shishou sealed Kaguya again was not just to discipline her, but also to remind her that there are always others stronger and more powerful, and that her arrogant nature needed to be corrected.
Moreover, if Kaguya were to be kept sealed for too long, she would grow resentful, which could harm their relationship—a price he wasn't willing to pay.
"Fine, I'll stay out of your business then," the Slug Sage muttered before dissipating in a puff of white smoke.
Once the Slug Sage left, Shishou immediately released the seal on Kaguya.
As soon as Kaguya was freed, she acted like an angry, scorned wife, crossing her arms and turning her head away from Shishou in a huff.
The fact that she had been so quickly defeated by Shishou was something she found hard to accept.
Shishou approached Kaguya, pulled her into his arms, and smiled:
"Do you admit defeat?"
"Hmph!"
Kaguya huffed heavily, turning her head away in continued anger.
Shishou gently turned Kaguya's face back toward him, still smiling, "I did this for your own good. Don't be angry."
For her own good? Sealing her away? Who did he think he was fooling?
Kaguya shouted silently in her mind, glaring at Shishou with disbelief. If she weren't weaker than him, she wouldn't have bothered listening to his nonsense.
Shishou slowly turned Kaguya's face to look at him and asked with a smile:
"Have you ever wondered why you were defeated by Hagoromo and Hamura a thousand years ago, and then again by me today?"
Hearing Shishou's question, Kaguya pressed her lips together, remaining silent.
Logically, her power was far greater than that of Hagoromo and Hamura, especially with the Ten Tails' assistance. It shouldn't have been possible for them to defeat her.
But the reality was that she had been defeated—and sealed away for nearly a thousand years.
And today, she was once again sealed by Shishou, and with minimal effort.
These two defeats clearly indicated that the problem lay within her, validating Shishou's earlier comment about her poor combat skills.
It also proved that even after consuming the Chakra Fruit, she had been unable to fully harness its true power.
Seeing Kaguya's silence, Shishou took her to a mountain peak, where they sat at the edge of a cliff. He placed her on his lap and continued:
"Kaguya, your defeats stem not only from your lack of experience in fighting those of equal strength, but mainly from your arrogance."
Upon hearing this, Kaguya leaned her head against Shishou's chest, not saying a word.
Shishou continued:
"You once told me that the universe is vast, and even the Ōtsutsuki clan cannot claim to be invincible."
"So, I hope you can learn from this, to start honing your combat skills, and never underestimate your opponents in future battles."
"After all, you are my wife, destined to fight alongside me as we take back the Ōtsutsuki homeworld and become the rulers of the universe."
Take back the Ōtsutsuki homeworld?
Hearing Shishou's bold words, Kaguya raised her head in astonishment, staring at him in disbelief.
In her own plans, the best-case scenario was merely to escape the Ōtsutsuki clan's pursuers and find a secluded corner of the universe to live in peace.
She hadn't imagined that Shishou intended to not only strike back at the Ōtsutsuki but to rule the entire clan and become a god among the stars...
But then, recalling Shishou's Amenominaka ability, Kaguya realized that he might just be able to pull it off.
Lost in thought, Kaguya stared at Shishou, mesmerized.
This was her man, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's man!
After a moment, Kaguya spoke:
"Even if we consume another Chakra Fruit, it will be impossible for just the two of us to defeat the entire Ōtsutsuki clan."
Though moved by Shishou's grand vision, Kaguya felt the need to remind him of reality.
Shishou smiled, "It won't just be the two of us."
Kaguya frowned, "Are you referring to your other women?"
Shishou smoothed out the furrow in Kaguya's brow and began to explain his future plans in detail.
According to Shishou's plan, once Tsunade and the others had fully mastered Sage Mode to the level of the Slug Sage, or awakened the Rinnegan and reached pseudo-Six Paths level, he would leave the planet and venture into the cosmos to hunt down scattered members of the Ōtsutsuki clan, using their power to strengthen himself before launching an attack on the Ōtsutsuki homeworld.
At the same time, he would continue to cultivate the Divine Tree, harvesting more Chakra Fruits to further enhance his power.
After hearing Shishou's plan, Kaguya asked:
"Are those women of yours really that strong?"
Shishou smiled, "Although they can't compare to you, they are more than capable of dealing with ordinary Ōtsutsuki."
"Hmph!"
Hearing this, Kaguya lifted her chin proudly, a satisfied expression on her face.
Given that those women had their uses, she decided not to hold a grudge against them. As Shishou's primary wife, she needed to demonstrate the magnanimity befitting her status.
As Shishou watched Kaguya lift her chin, exposing her long, slender neck, he paused for a moment.
Then, he cupped her face and gently kissed her.
A few minutes later, Kaguya pushed Shishou away and frowned slightly.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"I want you to fulfill your duties as my wife."
Just as Kaguya was about to respond, her lips were sealed again by Shishou's.
Then, her outer robe was slipped off, revealing her graceful figure.
Before long, a faint blush spread across Kaguya's face, as beautiful as the morning sun, radiant and enchanting.
A sensation unlike anything she had ever experienced flooded her mind.
It was a feeling even more wonderful than when she had consumed the Chakra Fruit.
