After awakening the Six Paths power for Naruto and Sasuke, Shishou began teaching them how to contain this power, advising them to use it sparingly and only in critical moments.
Though Naruto and Sasuke had successfully accessed the power of the Six Paths, the Yin-Yang power left by the Sage of Six Paths was finite, so they needed to conserve it.
Once they had mastered containing their Six Paths power, Shishou assigned them their new mission.
Their task was simple: to represent the Moon Palace in the ninja world, maintaining peace and becoming the guardians of the ninja world.
Shishou took out two Kusanagi swords engraved with the Moon Palace emblem, one black and one white, and handed them to Naruto and Sasuke, speaking earnestly:
"Remember, you represent the Moon Palace in the ninja world. Always think twice before acting. The responsibility of maintaining peace in the ninja world now rests on your shoulders."
As he handed over the swords, Shishou continued, "From now on, you are the guardians of the ninja world!"
Naruto accepted his sword with an expression of solemn dedication, saying, "I won't disappoint you, sensei."
Naruto had always wanted to prove himself, and now, with such an important task, he was thrilled.
To him, this was the perfect opportunity to show the ninja world his worth.
Though Sasuke appeared indifferent, he was equally excited inside.
After giving them a few more encouraging words, Shishou had a clone escort them back to Konoha, where they would begin their roles as guardians of the ninja world.
With Naruto and Sasuke sent off, Shishou breathed a sigh of relief.
Having them guard the ninja world would make his life much easier.
After resting for a while in his study, Shishou got up and assigned tasks to the remaining people on the moon.
Once done, he headed to the ninja world to collect chakra for the year.
He gathered chakra from the Dragon Vein, Tailed Beasts, the Three Great Sage Lands, and the various ninja villages, transporting it all to the Genesis Space.
After spending two weeks in the Genesis Space, chatting with the resting Mikoto and others, Shishou returned to the ninja world.
He went to various breeding bases to have the Phosphorus bugs consume the newly bred livestock for the year.
After consuming tens of thousands of livestock, Shishou arrived at the lab in Fire Source City to cultivate Hamura cells using White Zetsu.
Hanabi's eyes had already begun to transform, and with Naruto and Sasuke's abilities reaching the Six Paths level, it was time for Hinata to awaken her Tenseigan.
Using the energy and life force obtained from consuming the livestock, Shishou cultivated Hamura cells and had White Zetsu absorb them all.
In the afternoon, Shishou arrived at Hinata's small courtyard in Konoha.
Since Hanabi left for the moon, Hinata had moved out of the Hyuga clan's residence, living alone in a small courtyard not far from Shishou's home.
"Knock, knock, knock!"
Shishou bought a bouquet of flowers in Konoha and knocked on Hinata's door.
Creak.
The door opened, revealing Hinata's beautiful face.
"These are for you, Hinata."
Shishou handed her the flowers.
"They're so beautiful."
Hinata accepted the flowers, overjoyed.
She invited Shishou into the courtyard and closed the gate.
Leading Shishou to the living room, Hinata trimmed the flowers and placed them in a vase.
Watching Hinata's gentle and serene demeanor, Shishou felt a sense of peace, simply enjoying the sight of her arranging the flowers.
Once the flowers were set, Shishou started a casual conversation.
"Why did you move out of the Hyuga house?"
"Because I wanted to be closer to you."
"Is that the only reason?"
"Yes. How is Hanabi? Have you been treating her well?"
"Hanabi is doing great. She quickly learns all the jutsus I teach her. Soon, you might not be able to defeat her."
Hinata smiled, "I've never been able to beat her."
"That's because you don't like being a ninja."
"Yes, although I don't like fighting, I will still work hard to become stronger for you."
"For me?"
"And for myself."
After a pleasant chat, Hinata got up to prepare dinner.
Shishou went to the courtyard to help with some chores, but it was already spotless.
So he joined Hinata in the kitchen, helping her cook.
After dinner, Hinata took Shishou to her training room to show her progress.
When she finished, Shishou explained his purpose for the visit.
Hearing Shishou's plan to awaken her Tenseigan, Hinata nervously asked:
"Shishou, am I really capable of this?"
"Maybe you should help Hanabi awaken instead."
Hinata always doubted her abilities, fearing she couldn't handle the Tenseigan's power and would disappoint Shishou, just as she had disappointed her father as a child.
"Our Hinata is amazing," Shishou reassured her gently. "I'm here with you, so there's nothing to worry about. And I'll also help Hanabi awaken."
"Okay, I understand."
Encouraged by Shishou, Hinata nodded firmly.
"Relax."
Shishou extended his right index finger and gently touched Hinata's forehead.
Hinata took a few deep breaths, trying to meditate.
Once she relaxed, Shishou quickly infused her with Hamura's bloodline power using the Phosphorus bugs.
As the Phosphorus bugs worked, Hinata's special Byakugan began to draw chakra rapidly from within her.
Feeling the intense pain in her eyes, Hinata bit her lip in silence.
Sensing this, Shishou increased the infusion to alleviate her pain.
Thanks to his thorough preparation, Hinata's awakening process went smoothly without any issues.
After helping Hinata awaken Hamura's bloodline, Shishou further infused her with Hashirama's cells, increasing her chakra reserves to support the Tenseigan's future transformations.
Carrying Hinata to her room, Shishou smiled as she touched her eyes:
"They feel like they're pulsing."
He gently covered her eyes with a black cloth, smiling, "You'll be a bit of a blind person for a while."
Hinata smiled beautifully, "But Shishou will take care of me, right?"
"Of course. Now rest."
Shishou tucked her in and prepared to leave.
Hinata grabbed his hand, not wanting to let go.
