When Gray entered the kitchen, his eyes darkened for a moment.

"Son, don't just stand in the doorway, come on in. Your friend stopped by today to give you the lecture notes from the Academy, so don't forget to thank him."
His mother's gentle voice, as if everything was fine, echoed in his ears.
"Yes Gray, come on in, I brought you everything from today's lectures."
Rain confirmed his mother's words and held out his notebook to him.
'Lectures...? Academy...?'
Gray stared dumbly at the outstretched notebook. But soon his face creased.
'Bullshit.'
