Chapter 262 - 262 Life Is Precious, Freeby Devil Fruit...

"Pa!"

Boswald slapped his son's glass helmet. "No. This mermaid is mine."

He snorted. "You can have the fish-man at home. I'm done playing with it."

"Really? Thanks, Dad! Hehehe!" His son grinned, drool and snot dripping down his face.

"Honey, hurry up. I don't want to stay among these filthy commoners any longer."

Saint Boswald raised his hand, signaling to the auctioneer.

"One hundred million Beli."

"One hundred million once… one hundred million twice… one hundred million thr—"

The auctioneer hesitated, feeling bitter. These damn Celestial Dragons again…

If not for them, a mermaid could easily fetch over a billion.

Now?

They'd have to sell at a loss.

Just as the hammer was about to drop—

"Wait."

Lynch's voice cut through the room.

"One hundred million… and one Beli."

Silence.

Then, chaos.

"Who dares challenge a Celestial Dragon?!"

"Is he insane?!"

Boswald's face twisted in rage. "What?! Some filthy commoner dares to take what's mine?!"

"Two hundred million!"

Lynch smirked. "Two hundred million… and one Beli."

The host broke into a cold sweat.

This guy was only raising the price by one Beli each time. He might as well have written "looking for trouble" on his forehead.

Is he insane?! Offending the Celestial Dragons like this?

The host could only hope this wouldn't drag the auction house into disaster.

Sure enough, Saint Boswald's patience snapped.

"Kill that blind untouchable!" he roared at the CP agents nearby.

"Shave!"

Two CP members vanished in an instant, reappearing in front of Lynch.

"Gurararara~ Good job!"

A deep laugh echoed through the room.

Whitebeard stood up—then swung his fist.

"Kakaka—"

The air cracked like shattered glass.

The two CP members spat blood and were sent flying, their bodies crumpling on the spot.

Dead.

Boswald's face went pale.

"Y-You… You lowly scum dare fight back?!"

His hands trembled with rage.

"W-What?!"

The auction house fell into chaos—but they couldn't let anything happen to the Celestial Dragons.

"Guards! Get in here and take down the troublemakers!"

A wave of armed enforcers rushed out from the backstage.

But then—

"T-That's the Four Emperors, Whitebeard!"

"And next to him… that's Lynch from West Blue!"

Someone finally recognized them.

A chill ran through the room.

Lynch stood up from his chair, slowly removed his hat, and placed it over his chest. His sharp gaze swept across the room like an eagle surveying its prey.

"Good afternoon, gentlemen and ladies, and welcome to this special event."

"Bang!"

Whitebeard suddenly threw a punch—without even touching anyone—and the entire auction house shook.

Hundreds of guards collapsed instantly.

At first, they looked fine—until they vomited blood and fell lifeless to the ground. Their internal organs had been completely destroyed.

Several massive pillars cracked and toppled, sending debris crashing down.

Screams erupted from the crowd. Panic spread like wildfire.

Then—

A trembling man in a suit drenched in sweat stepped forward.

"E-Emperor Lynch, Whitebeard-sama… Please reconsider. This venue is under the protection of… Mr. Heavenly Yaksha."

Lynch chuckled.

"Heavenly Yaksha? Hahaha…"

His eyes glowed with cold amusement.

"This is the great 'Heavenly Yaksha' you're relying on?"

Lightning danced at Lynch's fingertips—a raw manifestation of power, a belief made real.

The moment it struck, the unfortunate soul was instantly reduced to a charred corpse.

"AAAAHHHH!!!"

Screams ripped through the auction house.

"P-Please! We're just here for the auction! We mean no harm—please, let us live!"

Lynch's eyes turned to the trembling woman.

"Shh. Keep quiet."

His calm yet chilling tone was enough to shut her up instantly.

Then, Whitebeard stepped forward, his massive frame towering over the panicked crowd.

"Listen up!" His voice boomed like thunder.

"From this day forward, anyone who dares to auction mermaids or fishmen in Sabaody… is an enemy of the Whitebeard Pirates!"

His words hung in the air like a death sentence.

"Now… GET OUT!"

"Y-Yes! Thank you for your mercy!"

Survival instincts kicked in—the crowd rushed for the exit, trampling over one another.

Lynch didn't kill them.

But many still died in the chaos.

Meanwhile, Lynch and Whitebeard turned their attention to the Celestial Dragons, who had collapsed in sheer terror.

Sabaody was close to the Holy Land, Mariejois, so these nobles had only brought two CP agents for protection—and both were already dead.

With zero resistance, the three Celestial Dragons spilled everything they knew—everything except for the fact that they wet the bed as children.

"Not one of the Five Elders' families..." Lynch muttered, feeling a bit disappointed.

This guy wasn't worth much.

A few Devil Fruits or some famous swords? Not even worth considering.

"Should we just kill him?" Lynch glanced at Whitebeard.

"N-No! Please! Don't kill me!"

Saint Boswald collapsed in fear, his body trembling as a dark stain spread across his robes.

"I have money! My family has money! I can pay you! Just spare me!"

"Kill me, and the World Government will never let you go!"

Lynch snorted, looking at him like an idiot.

"Whether I kill you or not, the World Government is already after us."

Did this fool really think two men with a combined bounty of over 10 billion would be scared of that?

"Forget it. Let's take what we came for and go."

As they stepped out of the auction house, Whitebeard paused, turned around, and threw a punch.

BOOM!

The entire building collapsed into rubble.

Sabaody's infamous auction house was no more.

And with the warnings from Lynch and Whitebeard, it was clear—

Mermaid slavery in Sabaody was over.

"Let's go. And next time, don't get caught."

Lynch picked up the mermaid Camie from the fish tank and threw her into the sea.

"Yeah! Thank you, benefactor~"

"I'll remember you! I'll treat you to takoyaki when I get the chance~"

She waved at Lynch before diving into the ocean.

Rayleigh, watching the scene happened, smile.

"So, what do we do with these three Celestial Dragons? Kill them?"

He clearly didn't mind stirring up more trouble.

Lynch leaned back in his seat, a thoughtful look on his face.

"I think I just found a way to sell them for a high price."

He reached for his Den-Den Mushi and dialed a number.

…..Marine Headquarters

Sengoku sat at his desk, a mouthful of donuts in one hand and an official document in the other.

He was reading intently when the Den-Den Mushi rang.

The snail's face gradually changed, taking on Lynch's expression.

Sengoku frowned.

Why is this brat calling me?

He picked up. "Moshi moshi, this is Sengoku."

Lynch's casual voice came through.

"This is Lynch. I kidnapped some Celestial Dragons—wanna help me negotiate?"

"PFFT—!"

Sengoku spat out his donut, spraying crumbs all over Garp's face.

"WHAT?! YOU KIDNAPPED CELESTIAL DRAGONS—AGAIN?!"

Sengoku's voice rose a little higher.

"What do you mean? This is my first kidnapping, okay?"

Lynch calmly pulled the Den-Den Mushi away from his ear to avoid Sengoku's outburst.

"You little brat! Can you stop causing me trouble?!"

Because of Lynch, his hair was turning gray faster than ever.

Lynch shrugged. "Hey, don't blame me. They started it."

"I'll be reasonable—one Celestial Dragon for ten Devil Fruits. That's not too much, right?"

Sengoku rubbed his temples, already feeling a headache coming on.

"Given how the World Government treats you, I doubt they'll negotiate. They'd rather lose them than give in."

Lynch smirked. "Then I'll strip them naked and tie them up in Sabaody. Let's see if they can afford to throw away their own people."

Sengoku's entire body stiffened.

That would be disastrous.

He let out a long sigh. "Fine, I'll talk to the Five Elders."

Lynch casually added, "Oh, by the way, I kidnapped three Celestial Dragons."

Sengoku: "..."

One Hour Later

Delivery rider Kizaru arrived, dropping off thirty Devil Fruits and picking up three terrified Celestial Dragons.

Surprisingly, the World Government didn't retaliate this time.

Lynch, feeling generous, decided to behave—at least for now.

He swore he did nothing…

Except slip two impotence pills to the Celestial Dragons before handing them over.
