Altria led her beloved horse, pacing back and forth outside the camp, until the sun set before finally making up her mind to enter.
Inside the camp, Luo En, who was setting up a Magic Array, heard the commotion and turned to look at his beloved student:
"Got everything?"
"Yes."
Altria replied in a muffled voice, casually handing over the bundle in her arms.
However, Luo En weighed it in his hand, then opened it to take a look, and couldn't help but furrow his brow:
"Why are there only a few pieces of bread? The count isn't right."
"On the way, I met some children who haven't eaten for days..."
"So, you gave them our rations?"
"Only my share, yours is still here, teacher!"
Altria hurriedly explained.
"What about the tent?" Luo En asked again.
"We came across a woman who was about to give birth; they needed it more than us to keep warm."
"And the medicine?"
"There were injured people among the refugees who escaped..."
