"Which one?" Shen Wenzhou asked in a flat voice.
"The physics one," Zhou Ruoyu hurriedly said, when in fact her intention wasn't to borrow the workbook at all; she just wanted an excuse to speak to Shen Wenzhou.
She observed Shen Wenzhou's expression carefully, wanting to see exactly what his attitude toward her was.
The next moment, she heard Shen Wenzhou say coldly, "I didn't do it."
"You, you didn't do it?" Zhou Ruoyu furrowed her brows, subconsciously repeating the words, her voice full of disbelief.
"Yeah, borrow it from someone else," Shen Wenzhou finished, then lowered his head again, not giving Zhou Ruoyu any more glances.
Zhou Ruoyu just stood there. She couldn't believe at all that Shen Wenzhou hadn't done the work; she was convinced that Shen Wenzhou simply didn't want to lend it to her or, to be more direct, that Shen Wenzhou didn't want anything to do with her.
At this thought, Zhou Ruoyu felt like her teeth were going to shatter!
