Chapter 306 - Chapter 306

"Do you have anything else to do?" Ye Feng asked.

"I… I want to conduct an experiment," the Goddess of Life replied, her face tinged with red.

"An experiment?" Ye Feng raised an eyebrow, surprised.

He didn't mind, but… why was her face so flushed?

"Yes."

Emerald green light bloomed around her, brimming with ultimate life force. Her face remained red as she spoke softly, "Ye Feng, use your energy… and touch me."

"Just… touch?" Ye Feng asked, confused. He couldn't understand what kind of experiment this was.

"Yes," she nodded.

Ye Feng condensed a strand of his chaotic energy—gray in color—and extended it, gently brushing it against the Goddess of Life's emerald green aura.

She looked visibly nervous, carefully guiding her own life energy to intertwine with Ye Feng's gray energy. The two forces wrapped around each other gently, without conflict or resistance.

"There's no repulsion or expansion…" the Goddess of Life murmured with delight. She couldn't hide her excitement. Then, unexpectedly, she leaned forward and lightly tapped Ye Feng's face.

"Uh…"

Ye Feng blinked in surprise.

Was she flirting with him?

He looked at her in silence as she smiled mischievously. "Haha, look—your face didn't swell at all. There's no abnormal reaction!"

Ye Feng: "..."

He was completely speechless. He still didn't understand what she was trying to prove.

"Ye Feng," the Goddess of Kindness chimed in, stepping forward with hopeful eyes. "I also want to do an experiment."

"You two aren't just trying to take advantage of me, are you?" Ye Feng joked.

"I'll tell you the answer to your question if you agree to my conditions," the Goddess of Kindness replied, her expression dazed yet serious.

"Alright. What do I have to do?"

"The same thing as before."

She raised her delicate jade-like hand, and a strand of pure white energy shot out from her fingertips. Ye Feng responded with another ray of gray chaotic energy.

The white aura of ultimate kindness intertwined with Ye Feng's power, just like before. When she noticed there was no rejection or contamination between their forces, the Goddess of Kindness smiled sweetly.

Bo!

Before Ye Feng could react, she suddenly tapped his face too.

"You two really are taking advantage of me!"

Ye Feng wiped his slightly damp cheek and asked, somewhat annoyed, "Shouldn't you at least give me a proper explanation?"

The two goddesses exchanged a look and burst into laughter.

"Sister Lu, you explain it," the Goddess of Kindness urged.

The Goddess of Life nodded and turned toward Ye Feng with a faint smile. "Ye Feng, do you know why the Goddess of Kindness and I have remained loyal to the God of Destruction and the God of Evil?"

"Why?" Ye Feng asked, puzzled.

"Because we can't fuse with any other gods. I possess the ultimate power of life, while the Goddess of Kindness holds the ultimate power of kindness. Due to the nature of our powers, we can't physically merge or even touch others easily."

She sighed softly, eyes dimming with memory. "I once had deep feelings for another god, but whenever we came into contact, even the slightest touch caused the area I touched to grow uncontrollably—turning into pustules or worse. Only the destructive power of the God of Destruction could withstand my life energy."

"I see… but earlier, my chaotic power didn't react to your energy at all. That means I can withstand your ultimate force?"

"Exactly." The Goddess of Life nodded.

"That's amazing!" the Goddess of Kindness exclaimed. "I can finally break free from the God of Evil."

She looked at Ye Feng with soft, curious eyes, like a mother-in-law appraising her future son-in-law. The more she looked at him, the more she liked what she saw.

Of course, she didn't realize that the system had subtly transferred the love and attachment both goddesses once held for their divine partners… over to Ye Feng.

"Tomorrow," Ye Feng proposed, "let's defeat the God of Evil, the God of Destruction, and the Dragon God Tang San."

"No objections," the Goddess of Kindness replied with a sweet smile.

"I agree," the Goddess of Life added.

"Then I'll head back and inform the others," Ye Feng said.

"Why do you need to go in person?" The Goddess of Life reached out and stopped him. With a wave of her hand, a beam of divine light burst forth, instantly transmitting the message to the Rakshasa God, Bibi Dong.

Ye Feng raised a brow. "So… you're trying to keep me here?"

"Of course," the Goddess of Life said bluntly.

"Then… Sister Green," the Goddess of Kindness cut in playfully, "I'd also like to stay the night here in your Forest of Life. You don't mind, right?"

"Not at all," the Goddess of Life replied casually.

"What are you two planning to do?" Ye Feng asked cautiously.

"What do you think?" the Goddess of Life smiled as she leaned closer.

"Can… can you come at me one by one?" Ye Feng backed up a little, flustered.

"We're both gods, and you're still shy?" the Goddess of Kindness teased.

---

The next morning…

By the time the sun was already high in the sky, Ye Feng walked out from the Goddess of Life's boudoir, flanked on both sides by the two beautiful goddesses. His expression was one of immense satisfaction. His heart surged with pride.

After all… the Goddess of Life had once been the wife of the God of Destruction, and the Goddess of Kindness had been with the God of Evil.

Suddenly, the Goddess of Life stopped in her tracks.

"Huh? No way…" she whispered, stunned.

"What's wrong?" Ye Feng asked.

"I… I'm pregnant."

"..."

The Goddess of Kindness froze as well. "Pregnant?" she repeated in shock.

"Yes, there's a new breath of life within me… It's faint, but unmistakable. That means I've conceived."

The Goddess of Kindness stared at her, mouth agape. "Sister Green… are you saying… I'm going to be a mother?"

The Goddess of Life paused, then looked at her and nodded seriously. "Yes. There's also a breath of life inside you."

The Goddess of Kindness gasped. "Are you sure? You're not joking, right?"

"Sister, this isn't something I'd joke about," the Goddess of Life said firmly. "You and I both wield ultimate spirit powers. For the longest time, not being able to bear children was our greatest regret. But now…"

"I'm going to be a mother…" the Goddess of Kindness whispered, eyes glistening with joy.

Unable to contain her happiness, she pounced and planted a kiss on Ye Feng's cheek again.

Ye Feng wiped his damp face and asked, still confused, "Can someone please explain this to me? Isn't it normal for men and women to have children?"
