{Author-chan: Welcome to another chapter, my dear readers. I hope you all are having a good day. Did y'all like the previous chapter? If you have any suggestions on how this world should be approached, don't forget to comment.
I am trying to be consistent with uploading a chapter every day by giving myself a challenge. The name I chose for it is ELOHESRA. The time for uploads every day is 0800 AM CDT Dallas. Your shiny stones and comments will surely help me in trying to be consistent. So, don't forget to drop some if you feel that the chapter is good or just want to support me. Today is DAY 1 of the challenge. Wish me luck.
The goal for another bonus chapter this time is 10 Shiny Stones. Don't forget to comment and drop some shiny stones if y'all like this chapter as well.
And, with that. Let's start this chapter, You Fuckers.
Toodaloo!!}

1 week later — Dayton, the Year 2168 — The Century {Pic. in the Comments}
It has been a week since we arrived in this universe. For the past week, we have been exploring this world. Which led to some changes in the plan. The initial plan was to go from Zone 12 to Zone 4, and then spark the revolution, but now I realise that there is no need to do that. This world has no power beyond human capabilities. On the other hand, I have powers. So, there is no problem even if we travelled straight to Zone 4 or even Zone 1, as no one would find out.
Right now, I am in an abandoned warehouse where I am researching how this time shenanigan works. How is it that they stop the Telomeres — a bunch of junk DNA that determines how much of a lifespan we have? To simplify it, let's say there is a manufacturer who is making steel machines. Now every time a product is shaped, each time a part of the blueprint from which it is moulded and shaped is lost, thus there comes a time when the machine cannot be made due to a significant part being lost.
"Hu.. Uh... This means that the genetic injections that are injected in people change the genetic structure by replacing the Telomeres DNA with something else. But why put a timer on it..?." In one of the dusty floors of the warehouse, I was there, lost in my thoughts, with a dead human on one surgical table and another tied, unconscious, on another. I did not feel guilty killing them, as they are — No, they were scum. People who prey on the weak and cower under people stronger than them.
The one dead on the table was Fortis. He was the leader of this so-called gang. It was his karma that led to this outcome, as earlier they found us and threatened and demanded that we hand over all the jewelry we had; the rest is all history. {Pic. in the Comments}
As the results from the experiment were made, the other person woke up and started speaking groggily and then in a panicking manner — "H..uh... W-Where am I? What happened?"
I turn around, finally showing my face. I could feel his breathing getting faster. I started taking off my medical gloves and said, "Well, right now we are at a warehouse."
I started walking towards him with no guilt for what was going to happen. He must have noticed that Fortis was dead or remembered what happened as he started begging for his life.
"P--LEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T DON'T KILL ME. I PROMISE I WILL TELL NOBODY WHAT HAPPENED." I knew that what he was saying was probably true. There he was, lying on the table with snot coming out of his nose, like an animal squealing not to be butchered.
"You know, you are quite lucky." I said to him, smiling. For a second he choked, and a hope flickered in his eyes.
"Really?" He responded as if to grab onto any rope he found to take him out of the situation he was in.
"Yeah, you see. The kid there - Uh... Fortis, if my memory is correct — suffered quite a bit before dying. Ultimately,providing me what I needed." I said out loud, pointing to the table where Fortis's body was lying.
"But you. You get to choose. Die quickly or Die like him." I said, putting a smile on my face as the hope in his eyes flashed, turning into disappointment and then into despair.
" 'Cause you see, you lot threatened my family. My fUcKiN' FAMILY, yEa!! ….. So fuckin' choose." I said, trying to calm myself down
"PLEASE, JUST LET ME GO, PLEASE!" He kept going on and on.
Urgh… I was starting to get annoyed. "Suffering it is, huh? Good, I prefer it that way."
As I picked up a skin grafter to do more research, John arrived. "Boss, I have found where the Genetic Facility is located."
"Well, it seems you are Lucky." I said to the man, then took the Glock and…
BANG
"Let's go."

*
As we get in the car, I ask John about the Genetic Facility.
"Boss, the facility is in Zone 4." He says.
"Such a convenient fucking place," I mutter.
Looking at the corner and seeing an alley, I say to John, "Drop me at the corner."
After dropping me off, John drives away.
I walked into the alley. If anyone had walked in behind me, they would maybe have seen a dead body that died due to a time wrestle or was killed for some time and nothing else.
A few seconds later, a sonic boom was heard from the alley.
SWOOSH
I fly past the other districts and reach District 4 in a matter of 18 minutes.
"Oh, how I missed flying. I should do this more often."
"There are also many different poses that I have not tried yet." I think with a mischievous grin.
As I reach the Genetic Facility, the facility is designed to be inconspicuous unless you know the exact location. It is well-guarded with good security measures. But the measures have been taken with humans in mind.
A smile came to my face as already a plan started brewing in my mind.
I pick some stones and throw them into the electric board powering the facility.
{Guards POV Start}
"Elijah, can you hear me? Over." Ron calls Elijah over the mic after the cameras shut off.
"Yeah, I hear you over." Elijah says.
"What's happening out there?" He asks.
SWOOSH
Elijah turns around as he feels a sudden wind past his shoulder. "Uh… Nothin' just some wind over here"
"Check what happened to the electricity, will ya over." Ron orders him.
"Sigh... Why does this always happen to me?" Elijah mutters to himself.
{Guards POV Ends}
They don't even notice as I pass through them and pick up any documents that might be worth studying while simultaneously searching for the main facility.
After searching for 3 minutes, I took all the documents that might help me but still did not find what I mainly came here for.
Thoughts like "Was the information wrong?" start surfacing in my head when I finally find the main facility.
The whole facility has been automated to work with robots.
"Good for me." I guess.
"Let's take a crate for now (it contains 36 injections)."
While on my way out, I encounter a guard — Elijah. I could kill them. But I am not some monster. Also, I wear a mask; he doesn't know my appearance.
"1 year?" I say, seeing his nervousness surfacing.
"Uh... Yeah... Sure." He responds nervously.
"Here you go." I say, throwing a capsule with a year in it.
The small encounter with the guard reminded me of a quote that I used to hear a lot from adults. But it became clear only now.
"Time Is Money"

{Author-chan: Okay, that is all for this chapter, my dear readers. The Genetic Facility is something I made up. There was a plot hole in the movie. I mean, how were the children genetically modified? Nothing was mentioned about that.
I hope y'all liked this chapter, and if you liked it, don't forget to drop some Shiny Stones, as they motivate me to write more for you guys.
I am trying to get back to being consistent, and comments and Stones help me a lot. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to drop them in the comment sections, as they are always appreciated.
That's all. Don't forget to read today's author's weird thoughts.}
