Andy gradually grasped a vague idea.
The so-called magic transfiguration is to steal the magic power of nature and then use human body transfiguration as the basis to integrate the magic power of nature into the body.

Professor McGonagall asked, "Do you remember how it felt when you first transformed?"

Professor McGonagall nodded and explained slowly, "Animagus transformation is limited to non-magical creatures. Magical creature transformation will have unpredictable consequences."
Andy nodded slightly.
Andy now understood this point.
After transforming into a non-magical creature, a wizard can still transform back into a normal human.
But once a wizard transforms into a magical creature, their body and mind will be completely remodelled by magic, and they will never be able to transform back into a human.
"Magic transformation is somewhat similar to Animagus,"
Professor McGonagall continued. "Animagus turns a wizard into an ordinary animal. Magic Transfiguration, on the other hand, allows a wizard to retain their human body while also giving them the characteristics of a magical creature."
"So they both have one thing in common."
"Yes... you already felt it."
"These transfigurations create a sort of second animal mind, which goes into hibernation when your mind eventually overcomes the animal primal instinct."
"Hmm…"
Professor McGonagall paused for a moment before continuing, "And this hibernation lasts forever."
A second mind?

That explains why Voldemort still had the power of magic transfiguration after he had been reborn.

Andy looked expectantly at Professors McGonagall and Slughorn.

"Magic transfiguration is a risky process, and I do not recommend it. If you insist, you should carry it out under our supervision."

Andy and Hermione exchanged a silent glance.
Then Andy raised his hand and said, "Professor, I have already completed the magic transfiguration."
Professor McGonagall: "..."

But on a second thought, it seems understandable.
