Chapter One Hundred Forty:
New Era
There are lots of changes happened after one hundred three years of my sleep. There are new things I have just seen. New technologies that I still need to learn. New machines that I never expected to create with so much majestic, as I explain it. New buildings rising to heights that have almost reached the sky, and lastly the Human World's name changes.
Sky City is the capital of Celeste Country and the land that I know that was divided by Manu and Edelweiss Clan was already gone. The two clans became part of the Sky City where all the nobles lived. And I'm one of them.
I'm a noble son of Del Gazini Family, a very well-known and top one billionaire at Sky City. Vampires, Half-Blood, Witches and Warlocks and the Humans surprisingly, they all live together in the same city. Though, the treaty between the Human and the supernatural still intact and only the Human that holds the treaty is continuously pass down to generation. A generation of a Noble Family and that is the reason why peace and harmony are still intact for a very, very long year.
This is the New Era. A very different kind of thing that I never expected to see, even our clothes changes that even though I come from a wealthy family, it's hard to predict the people I'll going to meet outside because everyone is pretty much just the same when it comes to their attire. Commoners and nobles, it isn't a question. They are all the same.

"Haimon," Norward called out my attention. "How's your training?"
"So, far… I don't know." I honestly tell the truth. And even though I've done a few studies with Redmond's help, I'm still having a hard time learning everything. Especially with this little thing in front of me, something that when there is no light, I can only see pure black glass while the outside is dark blue color with a button of letters imprinted on it and it's like a box but it isn't because it's too small to be a box. Yet, it has the knowledge that can be useful once I open the content that was in inside this thing that they called digital phones. They also told me that I can use it to call someone if I know their numbers.
"You'll get used to it." Redmond answered.
"I hope so."
"Okay! It looks like Dealla needs to help you too." Norward answered and there's also new to my ears.
Words never been spoken from our time or rather my time because I am the only one who was left behind while them continue to live and continue to grow more knowledge as the New Era begins to bloom for a better and brighter future.
A future that I am also gradually learning and over many more years, from the changes I've seen after I wake up. Now, for more new and extravagant changes can be seen. From digital phones to cell phones that you can even use a video phone call and immediately see the person from the other side of the world just through the lenses of the phone. From being just simple heights of each building to being more adventurous and extravagant, and lastly the transportation became easier than ever.
Changes. From money, coins, cars, phones, houses, clothing and not even things but also, in music, dance and shows including the food that we eat, restaurants, fast food chains, groceries, food carts and different malls are all changes as the years goes on.
I don't know if the future has improved for good but I can only say one thing, it has made a lot easier of the Humans and us to live in this change world. Yet, there are Vampires still doing bad things to Human race but because of the agreement made, silence is still able to remain even behind the light there is hidden darkness that wants to harm them but from the darkness, there are light and hope willing to protect the innocent lives.
I'm one of them. And because of the change of time, me being a Duke, was also completely erased from all instead I became the only son of the most prominent family in our City. I became a father of my own self just to hide my true identity from everyone and since I'm a Vampire who never gets old or change, we had to use a powerful magic casted by a Witch to make everyone witness my life as I 'grow' into me.
I had what could be called a family. A father, a mother and a child and Sai helped me to make the family I have for real. That even though I knew it was just a work of a powerful magic, I felt so glad and contented in what I have. While I watched Shu Tokino in silence to grow until she turned to her teenage year.
I admit that as she gets older, I see Siara in her. That I almost wanted to approach her, to hug her tightly but I restrained myself because of what I remembered before her death. Siara wished she had just a normal life and now it came true. The normal life that she wanted and I can see it all throughout those years, she's happy and contented with her life right now.
Those years I keep an eye on her, I finally realize one thing. I don't want to ruin her perfect life. I decided to watch through the shadows until she grows grey and old. And I'll be happy if she found the man, she will spend her whole life. Have a normal family without any cursed or without the likes of us. Though it may hurt my heart, I'll sacrifice myself for her happiness.
I really thought that it's the end of our story, when suddenly Netro came with a prophecy that no one expected. Death will come to Shu Tokino.
