"You didn't kill them, right?"
Medina asked playfully once he had taken his seat beside hers.
"Of course not. I didn't even hurt them too badly. A few frost burns and slaps here and there."
He whispered because he knew Jade was still half awake. She, like the others, had woken up when those haughty brats had sauntered in.
"Most are asleep again?" He asked in confusion. He didn't expect them to care about his fate against the young masters but surely they would be curious to know the outcome as it involved them in a certain sense too.
"They are tired. We have been on the road for days. And they know they are prisoners. A bit of hazing or bullying is expected. I guess at this moment all are just happy to have a soft and secure place to sleep. They are enjoying the last bit of freedom they have left."
