It is undeniable that Bo Siyan has different feelings for Ai Lin than he did initially for Shi Jiayin, which is why she misunderstood him to be the same with Ai Lin when they were about to break up.
But everyone has a past; she can't just cling onto his and Ai Lin's past and not let it go. Moreover, it seems like Ai Lin's affection is one-sided, and Bo Siyan probably only sees her as a sister.
