After recovering, Sterl began to assess how the one hundred units of high-level soul power had enhanced him.
"My hypothesis was indeed correct. The effects that ordinary soul power provides, high-level soul power has as well, but the effects are even stronger!
The only difference is that the danger level is much higher than ordinary soul power. If my body and soul weren't strong enough, I would have been in danger just now."
Sterl looked at the long list of improvements. The enhancements were, as before, all-encompassing.
But compared to ordinary soul power, high-level soul power had also increased an unknown resistance, at least one that the [Tanscendence] system could not analyze or visualize.
Sterl carefully felt the changes in his body, and he had an inkling of an answer.
"This resistance, perhaps it's a resistance to high-level soul power."
He muttered to himself. This increase in resistance should reduce the pain and risk of absorbing and merging high-level soul power.
