"Mom, I'm a bit tired, I want to go rest a bit."
Seeing their son's dejected figure walking into his room, Mr. and Mrs. Chen looked at each other.
"Could it be that he's found a girl he likes?" Mr. Chen asked Mrs. Chen.
It's said that mothers tend to understand their children better, yet, Mrs. Chen shook her head: "I've just come back like you, how would I know his situation here. Plus, didn't he go see a girl yesterday without any objection? If he was already seeing someone, how could he possibly not tell us and yet agree to go on a blind date."
"So, how did he find the girl you saw yesterday?" Mr. Chen pressed on.
"That was just a drill." Mrs. Chen commanded coolly and confidently, "He's just arrived and hasn't met many people, there will definitely be better ones later. The one yesterday, she was just an ordinary kindergarten teacher. Really very ordinary. In terms of appearance, she's alright, but her family background is too modest."
