Xu Feng closed his palm and canceled the energy force circulation.
"See, the home invasion incident simply alleviated my condition. But then the body needs to adapt to the new improved version." He turned to her and explained softly.
Nodding, Allison no longer held any doubts.
"I see… the timing of your improvement is quite unlucky." She commented.
Toward that statement, Xu Feng could only flash a bittersweet smile. Indeed, the timing couldn't be anymore unfortunate for him.
Nevertheless, he wouldn't regret or cry about the incident. One missed event wasn't a big deal.
"Anyway, I'll be headed home first. Vera here can drive you somewhere else once I get off." Xu Feng said. His current body truly required resting, especially after that showcase of using his energy force.
"Just sleep for now." Allison calmly said. "We'll talk later."
Nodding, Xu Feng remained quiet and kept his eyes closed. Soon, he fell asleep unknowingly.
