The plane landed at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. Wei Anning followed Gong Ting out of the airport. Outside, a black stretch Lincoln was parked, and a British man dressed in a butler's uniform stood by the car door.
Seeing them come out, the butler opened the car door and said, "Young Master, Miss Anning, welcome back to the country."
Wei Anning was not surprised that the butler knew her name. She nodded at him and got into the back seat. Gong Ting followed and got in as well.
Gong Ting held an aristocratic status in the United Kingdom. There were escort convoys both in front and behind the Lincoln, clearing the way. The car merged into traffic. She turned her head to look out the window, the scenery unfamiliar yet vaguely familiar. She had finally returned.
She retracted her gaze and looked at Gong Ting beside her. "Gong Ting, when can I see my parents?"
