Leng Youchen said nothing, turned, and walked out of the study to the master bedroom. The room was tidy and orderly, not a single spot of disarray. Her favorite heart-shaped pillow was still sitting on the sofa, abandoned by its owner, forlorn and lonely.
He stepped into the walk-in closet, flinging open the wardrobe doors. The clothes inside were dazzlingly varied, with their tags still attached, all the latest designs he had ordered from major international brands.
She didn't like to dress so ostentatiously. She preferred T-shirts and jeans, saying they were simple and convenient.
Not a single piece of clothing was missing from the closet, even the suitcase remained untouched in the corner. He exhaled lightly, reassured. She wouldn't leave—they probably just needed some fresh air to clear their mind. He shouldn't overthink.
