"Do you have no intention of materializing armor of your own...?" asked Vestaahl, looking somewhat like a curvaceous, hot pink mecha with only her ears, tail, and the soles of her feet uncovered.
"Sadly, the most I can manage without compromising its integrity is a gauntlet," revealed Will, materializing a pale golden gauntlet on his right hand and forearm, contrasting Leshien's nearly pitch-black dragonhide gauntlet on his left.
"Then I fear this will be over quickly," asserted Vestaahl, Aura bursting from tiny holes in her greaves and around her waist as she accelerated forward with no preliminary movements. She wasn't as fast as if she had kicked off the ground directly, but she was able to spin with her center of gravity as an axis to slam a heavy kick against Will's guard without having to make contact with the ground.
