How could there be so many idiots in the world? They've brought so much important information, why is the progress still not smooth? Either all the rulers of this world are brain-dead, or greater interests have led them to make choices.
No matter which it is, 'Ancient' has already been awakened, and the Dusk mercenary's mission has essentially failed. Next comes the contest between local forces and Boundary Breakers.
The Dusk mercenaries can't possibly take center stage again.
Of course, if this is really the case, they still hope for the success of the local forces, at least if the locals succeed, it means the Dusk mercenary's goal has been achieved.
But Dusk has already arranged the Proxy Agent, and the Dusk mercenaries in this world are quite clear that this world's native forces might have overplayed their hand.
Perhaps they haven't realized it yet, but Dusk should not make an incorrect judgment here.
