Sending people familiar with the Dark Domain environment, passing through long dark tunnels, accurately locating the earth veins, using the Teleportation Spell to teleport down, repairing the Heart of the Mountains and then running away is the most correct tactic.
As for the choice of personnel, no one is more suitable for this task than Dwarves Elves. The first members of Shadow Wing were Dwarves Elves. Knowing how to repair the Heart of the Mountains, Gaven had Daphne draw five Transcendent Shadow Wing Dwarves Elves to form an elite squad and head to the Giant Run Mountain Range to find the entrance to the Dark Domain.
