"She was coming to kill you, your majesty," Minato said, his tone so gentle.
Kiyomi smiled at the statement. It was almost too simple, and yet it had her wondering if Minato bought the fact that she was able to kill Sakura. Or maybe it was because he trusted in her rage?
Or was this just some game for them, too?

"She wouldn't be the first one to try and kill me," Sakura said proudly, reminding Kiyomi that there would always be targets on their backs. That statement in itself made Kiyomi's regrets fade for a moment.
Sure, she had lost Elif, but here and now, as she listened to Sakura's smug voice, she couldn't blame herself for the humanity switch flip. She had done what was right for both of them.
She had done what was needed, and she didn't regret it. Granted, Elif was another case, but the Sakura she was listening to was the woman she had created, and she couldn't even be angry about it.
