"Seriously?" Otaru said as he glared at Kiyomi, who was staring at him blankly.
There was no emotion on her face. Anyone would think that she had ever had the abilities once upon a time. She was looking at him as if to tell him that the war had just begun, and she wasn't backing down.
Almost like the world could sincerely go fuck itself and she wouldn't bother to give a damn.
"Why the fuck did you save me, huh?" Kiyomi asked angrily as she pulled the IV off her arm and sat up, ignoring the aching spin of her hand. She hadn't stepped out of this goddamn need for so long and now that she wanted to, her body was refusing.
But Kiyomi was done playing kind games.
She was done trying to be the bigger person or even the victim. Surely, she was the victim of the Doiwa Lycans, but for all she cared about right now, this was bullshit. She couldn't give a shit about it.
All she wanted was to get out, and she was doing so well by herself.
