At that moment, the place fell silent for what seemed like an eternity.
Hannah's eyes glazed over to look at Ethan and her parents, carefully examining their features. Almost immediately, her parents, leaped up from their seats, jumping for joy as they congratulated her. They were grinning from ear to ear at the fact that their precious daughter is pregnant and that they are about to be grandparents.
Ethan on the other hand, a frown crept up to rest between his brows, as he stared ahead into space with a blank look etched onto his face. For him, it felt as though the world had stopped spinning and questions buzzed through his head as his heart raced inside his chest.
"What?" He muttered softly under his breath as his face fell, the smile that was once on his face quickly faded away within a split second. "You are pregnant?" He questioned, his deep voice laced with a hint of confusion as he finally looked up to meet Hannah's gaze, emotions were running wild in his eyes.
