Silence enveloped them for a while as the couple stood there in front of all these strangers. Everyone else around watched with excitement and anticipation swelling in their hearts, and gleeful smiles plastered across their faces as they involuntarily held their breaths, waiting for Alexandra to open her mouth to say something.
But it didn't take long before the blissful moment and peace was quickly interrupted by a familiar voice laced with a mixture of shock, anger, and betrayal tore through the air. "What do you think you are doing?!"
Immediately, everyone, including Ethan and Alexandra, snapped their heads around and their eyes landed on Hannah who appeared from behind one of the huge trees. Ethan's blood chilled instantly as he stood frozen to the ground. He watched with wide eyes and a shocked expression that masked his features as Hannah slowly wheeled herself over to them in her wheelchair, closing the distance between them.
