"You miserable thieving worm! Two thousand years of planning and preparations wasted! I was THIS close to bringing the true rightful ruler of this world back and you've ruined everything!" the black thing screamed angrily.
"The world doesn't need the one who created you, not anymore. All that they brought to it is mine and thus the worlds. You have lived long enough, now perish!" I said firmly as I compressed the orb around the shadowy thing crushing and erasing it until nothing remained.
While I dealt with that pest Madara had retrieved the other Rinnegan from Obito and stood ready to face me at his fullest strength.
Obito himself was little different as even without the Rinnegan he still stood defiantly ready to come at me. My senses caught the moment the eye had been taken out of his skull and replaced with a three tomoe sharingan from a glass jar of preserving fluid. It was a futile effort however as even at their strongest as they were now I was so far beyond them it wasn't even funny. With the shadowy figure dead I turned my attention to these two last remained foes.-
"Your plan was the scheme of that thing this entire time, why do you wish to continue this pointless battle?" I asked calmly.
"Even if it was all a manipulation, it was the only way I could see to bring true peace to this world. You took that hope from me and there is no more point in living, but I will die trying to take you with me!" Obito said with a fierce expression.
"I have lived through more than you could ever comprehend boy. I am not naïve enough to think I will simply be allowed to continue living even if I were to swear to leave the shinobi life behind. Madara Uchiha will not beg for his life but will die in the heat of battle!" Madara said firmly as he stood at the ready.
I felt their conviction and merely nodded in understanding "So be it." I said calmly as I held out my hand and two of my orbs floated to it before fusing into a long bo staff. No one else came to interfere as the two of them charged at me and I swung the staff horizontally. Madara dodged the blow while the staff simply passed through Obito as he didn't even slow down.-
I casually passed the staff around my back as Obito went to throw a punch forcing him to go intangible again or risk immediate death. Madara wove four hand seals and spat out a massive amount of flame at me but I simply flattened one of my orbs into a shield in front of me while sending a backhand to my left as Obito sought to exploit the distraction. Once my hand finished passing through him he became tangible once again with a powerful punch being thrown at my face.-
I simply told space it was solid where he was standing before sending my palm through his heart faster than he could even react. A spatial distortion appeared at his mangekyou but I flicked my arm sending him flying before he could attempt to remove my arm. I was incredibly durable but having my arm dimensionally severed was not something I could resist. It didn't matter though as his death was imminent since even with the vast amount of Hashirama cells that made up his right side he couldn't survive long without a heart.-
An injury like that was something even the First Hokage himself wouldn't survive much less someone in Obito's condition. That said the cells did let him live long enough to try and kill me again even as blood came out of him with every breath. I watched as four extra-dimensional clone versions of Madara came at me and simply sent my own to counter them. Madara himself tried using the soul stealing power of his Rinnegan but I scoffed at that and ignored it as I sent my own limbo clones after him once they easily dispatched his own.-
Soon enough Obito breathed his last and Kakashi wordlessly took his body while Madara was slowly and helplessly suppressed to death though I allowed him to fight as hard as he wanted as a final kindness before erasing his head including his eyes with one of my orbs. Once that was done I turned my attention to an unusual old man in spiritual form who looked very similar to myself floating by watching all of this silently. -
"Are you going to explain your presence or should I take it as though you too are hostile?" I asked calmly though I truly tensed as I felt this old man was very close to me in terms of power.
"I am Hagaromo, the sage of six paths and originator of ninshu. Until recently I thought your existence unable to truly affect the chain of fate, I see I was wrong. You have subverted fates plan utterly. My mother remains sealed away for good and the incarnation of my son Indra has been stopped before that plan was brought to fruition. Even still your mere presence will enforce a lasting peace that one other was prophesized to bring. For the first time in over two thousand years I truly have no idea what comes next." he said with tired expression.
"I'm going to take a nice long nap is what. This war is over." I said before vanishing as I teleport back to my home.
There was a time soon after that that many came to me in hopes of learning or even seducing me but I ignored all but those already close to me. Besides my horns, skin and hair my appearance remained not much different than before as I tied a bandana over my third eye and continued my life as normal. I married Karin and Naruto married Hinata who worked up the courage to ask him out. Sasuke went into self exile alongside Orochimaru and Kabuto while the world moved forward quietly. -
Karin and I had three children, two boys and a girl. All three were born with great power but none of them shared my natural sage state. The boys each inherited my bodies strength and chakra pools as well as a dojutsu of their own clearly derived off my own. The girl was special as she inherited her mothers red hair and my third eye though it's powers were much weaker than my own.-
They each became the progenitor of their own clans to escape from my own shadow but I didn't mind. After close to three centuries of life I stopped concerning myself with the world and sealed myself within my meditation chamber to be forgotten as I watched over the world as it's silent but omnipresent guardian.
----- THE END~
I know this seems rushed but this was always the plan for this story. Once I got through the end of the fourth war that was it. I wasn't going to go for the whole Boruto route as there was no point. This story was a sort of test of mine to begin with and never meant to last for a long time. It ran it's course and now it's time to move on.
If it helps at all I am currently working on three other stories that will take much more time to finish. A random pokemon story, Danmachi: Hell's forge and Borderlands: Unnatural selection.
