He had cast a couple of basic scent cloaking spells on himself to ensure that nothing about the Bloodline Extraction technique got leaked. But that very act might attract some unwanted attention. The lack of any distinct scent could cause them to become suspicious that he was hiding something.
Parasites weren't a particularly populous race. Ken hadn't met many of them in combat in his past life. His methods of dealing with them were also thus limited, and confined to higher grade spells.
Halfway on the road, several clansmen from the four clans his peers represented suddenly appeared behind their group. Ken took a cursory look at them and recognized many faces. All of them had important backgrounds in their own clan, occupying the standing of decision-makers or finance overseers.
