"Hmm. Seems like she's not impressed with you at all."
Aksai said as he slowly walked into the clearing.
The female eagle turned her head slightly at Aksai's voice. Her sharp blue eyes looked at him with a mix of suspicion and pride.
She gave a short snort, lowered her raised leg just slightly, and turned her head away again—still clearly annoyed by the male's presence.
The male looked down at his claws, then at Aksai, then back at the female.
Aksai chuckled and patted the male eagle's side as he came closer.
"Well, it seems she doesn't like me either," he said aloud, more to himself than to anyone else. "Guess we need to do something about it."
The male let out a soft cry and lowered his head as if in agreement.
The chained female eagle fluffed her feathers and turned her head with a huff. The Essence Rune at her leg glowed faintly. It wasn't meant to restrain her permanently—just enough to keep her from flying off before she got used to the place.
