"A-Aether?" Xara stammered, taking a startled step back. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at him—no longer the short illusionary version, but a taller, broader, and... without a doubt... the most handsome man she had ever laid eyes on.
She didn't want to be rude to her children—they were the most beautiful beings in her world, precious in every way—but Aether... Aether was something else entirely.
