Chapter 13 - Perfect husband

Chapter 13: perfect husband

---

AUTHOR: Hello sweethearts! 😘 Missed me? I'm back with another explosive bonus chapter—dedicated to my favorite troublemaker, RYAN! This one? It's hot. It's bold. It's justice served with a broken nose. Let's dive in!

---

I left Yin to look for another way around—because clearly, I'm the smart one here—but then BAM! Out of nowhere, this thing blocked my path.

And when I say thing, I mean a big, sweaty, beer-smelling ogre of a man with teeth that looked like he'd been brushing with sewage. Ugh. The way he grinned at Yiyi like she was a piece of cake and he hadn't eaten in years? Disgusting.

I backed away fast—but not far enough, because I saw him start strolling toward Yiyi, all creepy and slow, licking his chapped lips like she was on the menu. Yiyi hadn't noticed yet, but I had to do something. So I ran back like the wind.

"Yin, run! HIDE! He's coming!" I screamed (in my head, obviously), but she couldn't hear me. That's the curse of being invisible. đŸ˜©

She only noticed him when he got too close.

"Hey pretty," he slurred with a lewd smirk, his breath hitting the air like rotten eggs mixed with expired gin. I had to cover my imaginary nose. Eww.

Yin stepped back.

He stepped forward.

She backed up again.

And he followed, like the villain in a bad horror movie—grinning, wheezing, and wobbling toward her like he owned her.

I looked around, found a stick, and started whacking the guy like I was a mosquito hunter on speed. But clearly, it was just for show—he didn't feel a thing.

Then—BAM. Her back hit the wall. A dead end.

"Why you running, baby? I'll give you money," he said.

"St-stay away from me!" she cried, tears gathering like pearls in her eyes.

"Aww, baby don't cry," he cooed. COOED, I tell you. Like some greasy pigeon.

He grabbed her hair, sniffed it like a maniac, and slid his hand to her neck.

But our girl pushed him—YES, QUEEN!—and ran. I followed like a loyal sidekick, but his bodyguard cut us off like a movie plot twist. The perv yanked her back, cackling like a cartoon villain.

"Did you think you could escape?" he sneered, grabbing her waist.

"Please don't touch me—I'm a married woman!" she sobbed.

He laughed. "Even better. I love married women."

GROSS. The moment he kissed her shoulder, I nearly passed out from fury. And she? She was shaking like a leaf in a storm. Poor girl.

"You wouldn't dare touch me if you knew who my husband is!" she tried again.

SMACK!

He slapped her so hard I swear I saw birds circling her head. A red handprint bloomed across her cheek.

"Who's your husband then?" he mocked.

"Young Master Jinye."

He paused. Then laughed like it was a joke. "Nice try, sweetheart. Jinye doesn't have a wife. Hell, he doesn't even have a girlfriend."

I wanted to stab him with my stick.

She whimpered, "I promise
 he is."

SMACK! Again. And this time, he tore her clothes—ripping the fabric, exposing her shoulder. The guard held her arms as she tried to cover herself.

"Somebody please tell Master Jinye! His wife is in trouble!" she screamed.

Then—WHOOSH! Out of nowhere, three men in black descended like Avengers. In a flash, the perv and his goon were pinned to the floor, faces mashed into the dirt.

"Who the hell are you?!" the man yelled, still playing macho.

WHACK! A clean punch shut him up.

AND THEN—cue heavenly chorus—Jinye appeared.

Looking like a wrathful god in a thousand-dollar suit.

I ran to him and threw myself into his arms (okay, Yin did, but I was emotionally there). He held her close, checked her over, called his private doctor, and ordered the car.

Then
 he turned.

"Young Master," the disgusting man stuttered, finally realizing he'd messed up.

Jinye's voice was ice. "Break his hands. Sue him. Ruin him. I want him so broke, he'll have to auction his underwear just to eat."

OH. MY. GOD. đŸ«ą

I gasped. That was love. That was fire. That was HUSBAND ENERGY.

"Husband, let him go
" Yin whispered softly, burying her face in his chest.

He kissed her gently. "Not today, baby. If I let this go, others will try again."

Then—CRACK! Yep. Bones broke. I heard them. And he shielded her eyes with his hand so she wouldn't see.

He draped his expensive jacket over her shoulders, lifted her chin, and kissed her forehead before walking with her—through the crowd, through the hall.

Announcing to everyone who dared to watch: This is my wife. Hurt her, and you'll pay with blood.

Just when we were about to leave, he stopped.

"To those of you who saw my wife being assaulted and looked away
I'll deal with you later. But for now, her safety comes first."

Mic drop.

And we left the scene like royalty on fire. đŸ”„
