This was what went through my mind on that fateful day I had to stand in for Dr. Altman at an airforce seminar where Lui and Chairman Chan noticed me, and since then my career at the Chan Group has been just a series of WTFs and having to deal with the unexpected on a regular basis.
It reached a whole other level since I started working with Hina though, and it certainly was the case now as I found myself sitting in the private jet of the Chan family flying to their holiday island with Hina.
I've never been there before even with Chairman Chan, and as far as I know, he brought nobody outside of the Chan family there either. As much of a workaholic as he was, his family holiday was a short but sacred time that nobody should disturb. He went completely missing for a week or two and gave us strict orders not to contact him unless we were facing a nuclear explosion level of catastrophe.
