Lun You caught a glimpse of Lu Yebai's darkened face across from him and quickly stepped back, "Xixi, I'm still alive, it's me, I'm Lun You! Don't attack me, Yebai will kill me!"
Lu Yebai walked over and scooped Meng Xi'er from behind, embracing her with a possessive gesture. He whispered into Meng Xi'er's ear, "He's still alive. He's very much alive. His mom took him away and brought him back to life."
Meng Xi'er stared blankly at Lun You's face. Her reaction was much calmer than Mrs. Lu's. Hearing Lu Yebai's words, she burst into tears with a "woo" sound and buried her face in Lu Yebai's embrace, crying tears of joy.
Lu Yebai held her tenderly, constantly comforting her. Lun You touched his nose feeling somewhat embarrassed; it seemed his "return from the dead" was going to scare everyone he met, one by one.
