"Shanshan's here." Yun Sisi waved to Shanshan, beckoning her to come in, then nudged Gu Xize's arm with her hand, "Aze, step out for a bit; I want to have a chat with Shanshan."
Gu Xize got up and sat down on the sofa to open his laptop, preparing to do his own work. Yun Sisi glared at him, "Can you step out for a while? I want to have a private chat with Shanshan. After the winter break, Shanshan will go back to school, and we sisters will have very little time to spend together."
"I'll do some work," Gu Xize said, head bent over his computer screen, looking at a document, "I won't disturb you two."
"How can we whisper with you here?" Yun Sisi complained, "You cling to me every day. Can't I have some personal space with my sister?"
Shanshan quickly tried to smooth things over, "It's okay, sister, let brother-in-law sit here."
Only then did Gu Xize close his laptop, and Yun Sisi added another instruction, "Go for a walk or go see our daughter. Don't come back unless I call you."
