The figure that vanished was none other than Martian Manhunter, whose shapeshifting abilities surpassed Robert's. He didn't disappear entirely but was hiding, waiting to strike with the hidden Avengers.
"It's a trap?!" Pietro's face changed when he saw nearly a hundred superhumans charging at him and Tony Stark. He quickly shouted, "Call for backup!"
"I already did! Who are you people? Are you opposing the Avengers?" Tony Stark's voice came from the mech suit in mid-air. However, the superhumans didn't stop to talk and surrounded Pietro and Tony Stark.
Not all the superhumans could fly, but quite a few among the nearly hundred could. If it were just one of them, these superhumans wouldn't dare act so brazenly. But with so many on their side, they were confident. Even if the entire Avengers team showed up, they still had the numbers advantage. They were already calculating how much they could earn by capturing Tony Stark.
Even excluding the bounty from the vampires, Tony Stark alone was worth a fortune. Even if they split it among the nearly hundred people, they could all become wealthy overnight. Thus, no one was focused on Pietro; they all targeted Tony Stark. For them, Pietro could escape, but Tony Stark could not.

However, some superhumans soon noticed something wrong. Pietro was not fleeing or attacking; he looked dumbfounded at the breaking mech. When Tony Stark's mech finally shattered, they were shocked to find no sign of Tony inside.
Before attacking, they had heard Tony Stark's voice and had sensed life within the mech. They were careful not to use lethal force to avoid killing Tony Stark, which would reduce their earnings. But now, they were baffled. They suspected Tony Stark had developed a space teleportation device hidden in his mech.
"Wait! Did they know we were coming?" A cautious superhuman voiced suspicion, looking at Wade, who hadn't moved. "Deadpool! Are you playing us? Why didn't you attack?"
"Play your mother!" Wade retorted. "Your Deadpool grandpa can't fly and doesn't have a gun. Should I throw my sword? If I were playing you, why gather so many people? Your spit alone could drown me... Wait, where's the guy we were chasing?"
Wade looked around for the Martian Manhunter but didn't find him, making the surrounding superhumans' faces change. They realized Wade might not have been acting but was himself deceived. This was a trap for them.
"Figured it out? You're surrounded!" At that moment, mechs flew out, surrounding the superhumans. The Avengers made their grand entrance, looking at the superhumans with excitement, showing no fear despite the numbers disadvantage.
"It's really a trap?!" Wade's eyes widened, seeing the Avengers appear around them. He thought about retreating but quickly shouted, "Besides these mechs, the Avengers have nothing! It's nearly a hundred against a dozen! We have the advantage! Don't be afraid! If we scatter, they'll pick us off. Let's fight them together!"
"If we wipe them out here, we'll never worry about money again. The vampires' bounty and the Avengers' wealth will be enough for a lifetime!"
"Yeah! Someone contact the vampires and werewolves. No way we fight the Avengers while they only pay and don't help, right?"
"He's a great actor. I can't wait to hit him!" Nearby, Johnny Storm and others watched Wade's performance, unsure if he was acting. But regardless, Wade was in for a beating.

As Wade finished, some superhumans turned into werewolves and vampires. Yes, among the superhumans were vampires and werewolves. As the battle progressed, the battlefield widened. The Avengers joined the fray, with the mechs holding the front lines, allowing the Avengers to engage more easily.
Johnny Storm and a few Avengers didn't care about the other superhumans, heading straight for Wade. As for the other strong opponents, Martian Manhunter and Kara could handle them. Robert, who had set up a telekinetic barrier, was also ready. The Avengers had nothing to worry about.
"Seriously? Just me against all of you?" Wade was stunned, then annoyed as Johnny Storm and others charged at him.
"Hmph! You've been inciting these superhumans. Of course, we'll deal with you first!" Pietro sneered.
"Yeah! You don't look like a good guy! Die!" Johnny Storm flung a fireball at Wade's feet, causing a strong explosion.
"Boom!"
Wade was blasted away, landing far off, looking particularly battered. But even then, Johnny Storm, Pietro, and Harry Osborn didn't let up. They rushed at Wade again.
Originally, Peter Parker wanted to teach Wade a lesson, but Johnny Storm beat him to it. Peter didn't want to be on the same battlefield as Johnny Storm. Plus, blasting Wade was part of the plan—to teach him a lesson and distance Johnny Storm from Peter and Martian Manhunter, avoiding friendly fire.
Unfortunately, this left Wade in a tough spot. Johnny Storm, Pietro, and equipped Harry Osborn were all stronger than Wade. Without showing his superior healing, Wade could only play dead after being beaten and bloodied.
Even then, the three didn't stop. After kicking him a few more times, they joined the rest of the battle, clearly having some personal vendettas.
"So satisfying! Haven't been beaten like this in ages. Now I can extort some money, hehehe..." Wade, lying on the ground, smiled under his mask. Realizing he needed to keep playing dead, he quickly covered his mouth.
Meanwhile, the Avengers were holding their ground. Though they had no specific counters for the superhumans, Martian Manhunter and Kara were unbeatable. The superhumans lured by money weren't truly powerful, stronger than Steve and Bucky, maybe even Venomized Peter, but no more. The stronger superhumans wouldn't act so easily.
The vampires and werewolves hidden among the superhumans became the Avengers' primary targets. The Avengers had many ways to counter them, and within the first skirmish, the vampires and werewolves were wiped out.
Facing this unfavorable situation, some superhumans tried to flee, but Robert's telekinetic barrier trapped them. They struggled against the Avengers and the mechs, only to crash into the barrier, nearly knocking themselves out...
