Just as he was thinking of confronting Douglas, he was interrupted by the sound of his communicator ringing, prompting him to look at the name of the caller.
Seeing Aaron's name, the Monarch was reminded that both of them were currently on the same boat.
"What are we going to do about this?" Norman asked as soon as he accepted the call. "The bastard even swore using Laplace Demon's name. Do you dare do the same to clear your name?"
His voice was filled with sarcasm, though a part of him truly wanted to see if the second-in-command of The One would turn a blind eye to a pledge that would come from them.
