I don't know what to say or how to compliment her. Even though I loved the dishes, I couldn't bring myself to say it out loud, so I decided to stay a bit later.
After that, we completed our lunch in silence. "Beth, it's been a long time since I ate food like this. Thank you for the delicious lunch," Daniel commented, to which she smiled and shook her head.
"Oh, it's nothing. I would love to cook every day and feed you, but you know our master," she replied with a playful tone.
"Hmm," Daniel hummed and replied, "Yes, our master is too cold, and we can't help it out. Let's see if this cold-hearted devil will get tamed in the future."
"Hmm, I am sure he will, and the thongs of this devil would be getting into hands," Beth said with a playful wink.
"Uh-oh," Zephyr cleared his throat, grabbing their attention while I was silently observing them.
"See, he is back. Now let's rush back from here, or else we will be his food for today," Daniel joked, earning an angry glare from Zephyr.
