[3rd Person]
Out from the shadows, a man with a navy blue bodysuit with white gloves and boots walked out. His bodysuit had pieces of armour covering all his vitals along with a stark white skull-shaped mask, featureless with only dark black eye sockets. Over his head a dark blue hood, attached to a large white cape clasped with a gold chain across his chest. Along his waist is a golden belt with gadgets and weapons, along with a skull emblem on the centre buckle.
In his hands he held a bow, drew and aimed it towards Iceman, and with a release of his finger an arrow was sent flying towards Iceman. Iceman erupted a wall of ice to block the incoming arrow, and as it pierced into the wall, a large sonic scream shattered away all the ice. Iceman fell to the ground with his hands covering his ears as the sonic sounds made him slowly turn back human, and small droplets of blood stained his hand, and the sound of his groans was masked by the high-pitched screams. The caped man seemed unfazed as he loaded his bow again, firing another arrow towards Iceman.
Through the pain, Iceman used his powers to erupt a spike, destroying the sonic arrow. Before Iceman could fully turn back to Ice, the arrow that came soaring towards him expanded into a large net. Iceman quickly froze the net and threw it to the ground; shards of ice surrounded his feet.
Another arrow landed by his foot and exploded, a white sticky substance that trapped Iceman's leg. Iceman froze the gel-like substance and, with a punch, freed himself.
The man fired an arrow into the air, and as Iceman followed its path, it confused him; it became an explosion of light, blinding him. Iceman raised his arm, and a sheet of jagged ice spread across the ground, with the nearby leaves plummeting to the ground broken.
"Now you're fired up!" Spoke the man, placing his bow on his back behind his cape.
Iceman squinted from the flashbang and sent a conjured golem made from spiked ice and commanded it forwards towards the man. As the golem charged heavily, the man sprinted towards it, unafraid. He slid under the golem as its arm swung downwards and unsheathed a sword from behind his cape, slicing through the golem's leg, making it collapse behind him.
Iceman, now on his feet, made a small army of beats made of charge into battle while he weaved through the forest, making it a maze of ice and mist. The tree's now an ice blue. The man dealt with them swiftly and precisely with a mix of attacks from his bow and close combat. In a matter of seconds, only two ice beasts remained. The both of them charged at him from opposite directions. The man sprinted towards one of them as it lunged towards him; he delicately dodged, and with a judo throw, used the beast's momentum to send it into the other, leaving him and Iceman.
While the man dealt with his conjuration, Iceman had covered all retreat paths and recovered his full body of ice.
"Surely this isn't your only trick?" Mocked the man staring at Iceman. The black, lifeless eyes of the mask unsettled him.
"Don't worry, there's more!" Replied Iceman, launching a spiralling shard of ice the size of a harpoon towards the man.
From his cape the man pulled a shield and blocked the incoming harpoon of ice while being pushed back. The force was greater than the man imagined, and Iceman had a small grin across his face.
Iceman ramped it up, and roots of ice erupted from the ground and tried to capture the man who sliced through them like butter, and with his movement, Iceman didn't even get close.
With a large blow, a large mist surrounded the area, and with his hand touching the floor, a sheet of ice froze almost the entire park's floor. Iceman reforms behind the man and landed a chilling punch to his shoulder, making him stumble. The man spun around, and before he could do anything, a block of ice jumped from the ground and launched the man into the air.
The man recovered mid-air and landed crouched on the floor and threw a smoke grenade at his feet, a cloud of smoke hiding him.
As the smoke dissipated, Iceman could see the man come fully back into his sight. He stood there tall and mighty, a pair of swords, one in each hand, as he glared Iceman down.
Iceman conjured two whips made of ice and started to swing them towards the man. The man's swords sparked with electricity as he countered each attempt of a strike with ease, getting closer to Iceman.
The man's style quickly changed to close combat as he dashed towards Iceman and, with the precision of a master, swung his blades towards Iceman, who could barely keep up, chips appearing all over his body of ice. As the man prepared a horizontal slash, he let go of his swords and switched to a knife with the deadly precision of an assassin.
Iceman takes a few slashes and quickly sets up a layer of armour and starts to skate around the park. The man wasn't used to this movement and couldn't keep up with such unique movements.
That didn't last long.
With an absurd speed, the man started to skate across the ice with almost the same speed and mastery as Iceman, and with a sudden increase in speed, the man was in Iceman's face. The man started to use a mixture of punches from all types of martial arts to pummelled Iceman backwards, eventually forcing his back into a tree. Each punch chipped at his ice, and each cut started to melt deeper into Iceman. Every strike thinned him down. Each attempt at a strike was easily countered. Steam flowed from every wound.
With a brutal kick, Iceman was sent through the tree and collapsed on the ground.Iceman picked himself up onto one knee and was breathing heavily. Injured.
"How are you doing this?" He asked, touching a small cut that turned into a small crater on his skin.
"Calcium Chloride. It melts ice with ease. You thought I wouldn't come prepared for our little skirmish? I have made multiple weapons just to strike you down." Answered the man, caressing his knife. "You're powerful Iceman, but you rely on your gift too much. I rely on skill."
Iceman raised his hand, preparing to launch a beam of ice, but before he could, the man dashed forward and planted a blade into his shoulder, and a shock of electricity went throughout his entire body. Iceman slowly went back into human form, blood now pouring from each wound and flesh exposed from each chunk of ice that melted away.
Bleeding and shivering, Iceman collapsed.
"I hoped for more," the man muttered. Bored.
He walked away, leaving Iceman alive but in pain.
