"...Evil?" Noysd repeated, staring coldly at Roku.
"I don't care. Soul erasure might be banned... forbidden even by the gods. But do I look like I care right now?" he said, gripping the burning soul tighter. "I don't care what the gods think of me or what punishments they're planning. Let them come."
His voice deepened. "Do your worst, gods. I won't go down that easy."
"No, no, no... this isn't something you do lightly!" Roku panicked, scrambling back. "You're not even supposed to know where the soul is! This isn't justice, you fucking lunatic!"
"Justice...?" Noysd muttered, stepping forward, the glow of the soul dancing in his eyes.
"Do you even know what the difference between good and evil is?"
He paused.
"No... most people don't. And maybe they never will."
"Good and evil… they're just words—labels we use to make sense of things we can't understand. We call something evil when it hurts us... and something good when it benefits us. But that's not truth. That's just perspective."
Roku shook his head, desperate to escape. "Stay away from me!"
Noysd continued walking, voice low and bitter. "The world pretends it knows right from wrong. They say murder, theft, rape... those are evil. And yes—they are. But then... what's good? Giving to the poor? Helping someone in need? Saving a life?"
He looked down at Roku with empty eyes.
"No. That's just convenience wrapped in kindness. Good isn't real. It's what the strong say it is. If you're powerful enough, even genocide becomes justice."
Roku kept backing away, his feet stumbling. "Y-You don't understand! I made that woman's life better! She just didn't listen! She didn't take the damn pill I gave her!"
Noysd's gaze turned cold as steel. "...You ruined her."
"Her husband found out because of you! My life was hell after that! He locked me away! He destroyed me! You—you are the reason I suffered! YOU were a mistake! An accident!" Roku screamed as he lunged toward the soul in Noysd's hand.
Noysd sidestepped smoothly, voice calm and quiet. "...Then next time, wear protection."
He clenched the soul tightly and stored it in his inventory. Roku's fingers missed by inches.
"Skill: Plasma."
In an instant, Roku's surroundings exploded into blinding light.
BOOM!
A pillar of lightning crashed down with devastating force, vaporizing Roku where he stood. Not even ash remained.

(Later, in the house)
The battle over, Noysd rebuilt his home—reinforcing the walls and door with grim precision.
Alone, he sat on the floor, staring at the silent night.
"Damn... Prime was right…" he muttered as tears welled in his eyes.
He curled into himself, the pain creeping in.
"Why didn't they just... throw me into adoption?" he whispered, voice breaking.
He cried quietly, the kind of sorrow that doesn't scream—but sinks deep, anchoring itself in silence.
That night, Noysd cried himself to sleep.
